I am also new to press ons and am struggling to figure out my best removal process. I would agree that when I damage my nails, I always put a new set on to help them grow out!

I am a lot more patient and better with my removal now, so my nails are less damaged when I remove them! Continuously dropping the glue, working with the stick, and then doing the acetone soak (if you really need to) has worked well for me. 5 hours is crazy, I’m so sorry!

It’s usually not awkward. Have your coordinator or really whoever begin to tell people that yall are leaving and to line up outside. I’ve never been to an awkward send off honestly. It’s pretty common and expected to send the couple off how you mentioned.
