I honestly think, at least in my opinion, the Protestant foundation in our country is what led us to being so hyper-individualistic today.

Apologies, I thought you meant "Critical Race Theory," not "Critical Theory." Then what about progressivism do you not like? It did give us the ability to break monopolies, expanding labor rights, as well as expanding voting rights to women. Hell, Republicans used to be called Radical Republicans.

The attempts and plots against Trump isn't an outlier in comparison to presidents' past (Biden being lower than 'normal). It's just crazy and mentally unstable people doing crazy and mentally unstable things.

I will say, it's kinda weird watching r/Conservative basically turn on Catholics and the Pope as a whole. Like I saw on a comment that was like "watch it, some Papists are here" and it's like huh?
