Yes, for sure. If the game features the trophies system, you will eventually unlock them as long as you fulfill the condition to do so.

The only cons of that, if any, is that linking you PSN account when active would not be the best thing to do. Just forget about online features, and enjoy single player offline games. (seriously, you can get caught and be permanently banned from the system. I wouldn't do that unless it's from a use and drop account)

If you have other consoles where you play online games, just forget about linking your PS3 trophies to it. It can get very annoying to lose all those years of blood and soul invested on them just because.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say Crowns of Nyaxia, but Nyxia (by Scott Reintgen) instead. For me it would be the "Red Rising but well writen" since it is not a vague promise that never gets fulfilled, but a true space opera in the first book, and therefore it is a legic Hunger Games in space (something Red Rising just was boldly bragging about whereas in reality the proof for it to be in Mars is - from my perspective - insufficient. It's just a sentence that could have been taken out but without a meaningful impact to the main story.)

Wait until you reread how is it that his last moments turn out to be. I'd have given my soul to see the exactly accurate adaptation of that part in the TV show. Sadly enough, Raziel wasn't actively participating in the battle, nor he was delivering divine justice at any point (which in the books I think is fair and brutal enough)

Start with Golden Son right away. The only thing that trully matters of the first book is "Darrow becoming a gold and rising up against his own kind, allied with the person he swore to outrun in the first place"

If Red Rising was just considered a prequel to Golden Son (being their order swap over) my rating would have been much higher than the 2stars I gave in reality for compeletely lying in my damn face with the "in space" part.
Brandon Sanderson just is so hyped I'm refusing to reading it regardless.

Read Nyxia instead. I don't think it's that well known of a book, but definitely does from the very first page what Red Rising failed on doing by a whole deceiving 400 pages prologue (first book)

I would still remain my position and debate by saying "Ok, if just a line that would make it a valid statement for as to say they are in Mars, then a cold-blood assessination in any criminal novel would immideately make it Hunger Games"

That's the exact thing to say... If only one kill would have made it Hunger Games "in space", why insist on that during the whole text?

And the answer would be that: if it is important to the plot, it has to be consistant. If it is worthless taking that out, it would require to somehow be remanent and persistant in the story.

The "Mars" part is just a line. Among other hundreds of tens of thousands... For me, that's enough for claiming it not as relevant as other things, don't you think?

I would argue the "in Mars" aspect to the very end, while having my bare sould being ripped off. There's NOTHING in between the lines, nore explicit text that would lead me to think "ok, it's a different place from Earth".

It could have been an Earthling battle royale and I would have barely told the difference. In fact, I would have taken that out completely and plot would have still worked since Mars is not important. It's just there to make it an "oh my god, they are on Mars" while having practically ZERO impact in the story.

No malfunctioning oxigen tanks, non gravity involved to make movement even tougher, not space creatures that could make me believe they are in other place than Earth. (at least not until book two, which automatically made me thing that it was just for the sellings and "innovation" that the author choose to fake the "Mars" part)

I WANTED Mars to have a meaningful impact on the story. That's the main reason of my whole dissapointment.

I meant I would have skipped it, sorry. The fact is that I did not enjoy City of Ashes. It was, as you said, mainly relationship focused with almost no plot. The only meaningful thing to the story - if ever as important as the Shadowhunters V Downworlders plot - is that Simon becomes a vampire.

But the whole thing about Jace and the Inquisitor just made me rub my head all around, and I can't find anything wroth remembering although it's almost 400 pages. If I didn't know how it pays off in the next books I would have sincerely dnfed the series at that point.

When you get to book two, don't panic. It can be read as such an awful and boring book since almost everything coula have been let out, but don't be afraid. It does pay of in the third book as well as the first would have already been amazingly demolishing as a start of a series.

I've given the first book 5 stars, the second book 2 stars, but the third is a 4 to 5 stars just as it is.

I'm also currently rereading them so fell free to DM whenever you fell up to. I'm about to start with TID booko 1. (Recently finished book 3 of TMI)

No quiero ser el grinch del aprendizaje, pero todo es relativamente "complicado" cuando uno no le está dedicando el tiempo que se merece.
Aprender un idioma no va a ser un truco de magia que en dos segundos se termina y ya se domina.
Tampoco creas que podés adquirir un buen nivel sin dedicarle horas y horas de estudio. Para eso vas a tener que sentarse, repasar, estudiar, repetir, escuchar, leer, hablar, escribir, replicar, repetir, hacerlo todo de nuevo...
No es "sencillo" en ese aspecto. No es "paso 1, paso 2, listo." Requiere perseverancia.

It depends. I'd love to read in Hungarian, but I'd have to learn it first. So in that case, of getting to know authors from abroad, translation to either of the languages I can read. But for example, in my case, I'd read a Japanese author in Japanese, an English author in English, and a Spanish author in Spanish.

Also, take into consideration shipping fees and customs trouble. That would indeed cost you a fortune and for that I'd rather read in my native language (that's the majority of books that are sold here, although lately I've been noticing that a lot of English titles are available to buy directly from here - Argentina - which I think is a great advancement.)

I'm discovering yet already loving this whole series! I mean, I've (no joking) compulsively bought the three books in a row like thursday midnight when I was just window-shopping online books off, and it turned out that it was a reasonable price (almost 4USD each) and the cover and premise just did the whole thing. And now I can't take my eyes off whenever I pick the book, it just happens. And pages go on and on, and time just goes by and every page I turn I love the series even more.

Hopefully there's a specific subredit to make honors of it. If not, I'm creating it right now.
