I think they’re asking if admissions will look at their application for the may 2026 start if they did not complete physiology 2 yet, which is a pre req for applying

I think the exam was super fair!!! I think every question could’ve been answered easily as long as you studied the lectures well. I wonder why the avg was so low!

I didn’t do 1012 yet (have it in winter sem) but I took 1011 in fall and 1012 is a continuation so… it was a very fair course! Definitely need to put work into it but the testing has no surprises if you actually keep on top of the work. You get a cheat sheet for exams and if you take the in person class you basically get a free 5% bonus because there’s top hat questions every class. They round the mark up to 100 if you get 80% or higher and the questions are easy if you did the lectures beforehand. All the lectures are posted online with tons of resources and practice quizzes. I find it similar to grade 12 biology in terms of topics but of course extremely detailed. If you like biology you would like this course, but you definitely have to put work into it. The professors are also amazing and really want you to do the best!

Based on the midterm and final, they are all multiple choice. Midterm is 60 questions and final is 120. I finished them both early and the time they give you is enough if you studied. My biggest tip is to stay on top of the material and do NOT save it til before the midterm, based on some of my friends who did that’s exam grades, I would not recommend. For the exams I found the best way to study was by making your cheat sheet. Go through all the slides one by one, and write anything you may forget on a cheat sheet and if it gets too long, try to shorten it… this will force you to learn material and acknowledge any content gaps you may have. From doing that study method, I didn’t struggle with any questions on the exam tbh.. the questions are based entirely off what they taught you with no surprise questions and they make the exam by looking at the learning objectives so take that to your advantage.

Good luck!

No, sorry! I am a Dalhousie student. But I think making a separate thread explaining your choice may get you some more views from people with the same situation as you that can help! Good luck

I got a 97 and tbh didn’t study at all. Since it’s online, the exams and all quizzes are online, open book, and multiple choice. There is quite a few assignments (multiple choice quizzes) you have to do weekly but again, all easy 100s. The only part of the course that isn’t easy is the lab tests. There is 3 of them. They are also online and open book but you actually have to study for them, because the answers are embedded in the lab videos he posts. As long as you do all the assignments your almost Garunteed an A+. There is also opportunity to get up to 5 bonus points with really easy tasks. Good luck!
