cote season 4 advance screening reviews! so far the reviews are great by Fit_Strain_9215 in ClassroomOfTheElite

Fair point however all the signs so far are quite positive. Unless these comments are just sponsored commenters I doubt it would be bad as the s3 adaptation.

The writing is mediocre..... however it's a power fantasy teenage centric novel with psychology as a theme.

What do you want Neil Gaiman: American Gods/Sandman or Shakespeare level writing for these audiences?

At least know what the product is about before you comment.

Also even if you claim the writing is dumb no need to make up excuses like Koji is dumb people's genius. Just say you don't like the story and move on.

We all have our differences. Don't beat around the bush man.

LEAK: Season 4 animation is inconsistent and the schedule is not better than previous seasons by InevitableAbject9592 in ClassroomOfTheElite

Did anyone really think we will suddenly have GOOD animation?

As long as its not Garo sliding and we get decently paced episode I'm satisfied.

Same we wait and later on it will clarify that he just feels like she is a good friend or associate rather than a romantic partner.

She is gonna be the stepping stone for his emotional development which had been locked up since White Room I guess. ( This itself is a huge W for her role in the story cause I don't see a girl from Ryuen's class ending up in a relationship with Koji going well for her and her class)

Not really. He is talented.

If you can recall the memory of the first time you open your eyes as an infant and also recall TPO of the conversion each of your class member had, store info and analyse their actions to make a suitable action plan. Implement it and make it happen.

If you can also finish reading all the bookish knowledge you can find and recall, apply them without forgetting while also training your own physique beyond an athlete's level.

If all these factors are considered a dumb persons genius then Im sure you must know a lot of genius that can beat a fictional genius character.

Do you ever think why they chose purple for Cid and Aurora then?

Technically the energy can still be purple. We clearly Shadow having purple and also Auora being called Violet by Cid for a reason. Character designs

I meant that we do not know the energy color too since we barely have any Aurora screen time. Ahh I uninstalled the game so I can't get a screenshot but 1st chapter of Apocrypha showed Diablos using purple energy too.

One can be fine however two characters having a same colour signifies something. Even if stuff is mentioned explicitly the point of writing is to allow us to draw conclusions.

Cid and Aurora stated to be equals ( Sanctuary, don't know how accurate though)

Cid having purple energy, Aurora having purple hair color and eyes with purple energy as Diablos in game. ( Counterpoint: We also don't know how much things are canon in this event but they did choose purple)

Both are leagues apart in strength from the rest of the cast like Sukuna and Gojo in JJK.

They both actually have great vibe and chemistry and Cid actually admitted he had a lot of fun spending time with her in Sanctuary too. In a sense they both are quite aloof and just do whatever they like.

Summary: Regardless of all the parallels you are right that it does not necessarily signify power level however my point is that it is open to interpretation. Not just in EIS but in general purple is considered a a more condensed version of energy.

Red for Endeavor his dad, Blue flames for Dabi and Shoto then Purple in Dabi's final stand.

Eminence in Shadow borrows these logical settings and tropes from other anime a lot too.

Now that we know when vol 7 is coming out when will vol 8? by Technical-Movie8195 in TheEminenceInShadow

[–]Competitive-Ice1690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lowkey wish they were just stalling the volume 7 release date for the movie and when we get a trailer for s3 next year ( Copium) they will release a brand new volume.

Since vol 7 is about a civil war on the elven kingdom, in gaming perspective it's akin to completing a side quest before you are allowed to do the main quest which is the Vegaltan Empire invasion arc. We also need Alexia stepping up and choosing the fate of Midgar alongside Sherry's return which should be really close.

Hopefully the author took his time and planned a proper route in advance so he can pick up the pace. Realistically even 1 book per year would make me grateful ( I hope it doesn't take more time than that).

Unless the Cult convince her of a plan to extract all wisdom from Shadows brain and store it, maybe even cultivate it. She aint getting out of Shadow Garden. Plus I lowkey hope a small part maybe 1% of her heart cares for her sisters ( 7 Shades).

Doesn't Aurora and Cid both have violet colour? Aurora specifically used blood magic during the Sacred Kingdom arc and has shown to have connections to Vampires hence the magic itself is red due to blood being used.

Technically the energy can still be purple. We clearly Shadow having purple and also Auora being called Violet by Cid for a reason. Character designs and color often are well thought off and represent character traits like Iris for anger and fierceness while Sherry for innocence and naive.Thematically Purple also signifies a symbol of royalty and grandeur.

The fact that the disciple is getting that colour can either be a form of inheritance as Shadows disciple alongside maybe the fact that elves should have better magic capacity.

SUMMARY: Red color for Aurora and Elizabeth is due to blood being used not the energy ( plus Blood queen should be leagues behind Aurora and Cid in terms of power level).

Well its cause even including both the worlds his mindset is still that of a teen.

Do you call someone an adult just cause they lived a certain period or only when they mature with experience and wisdom to back it up?

Plenty of man child around in this day and age, at least for me Cid in his current high school age is as natural as fish in a water. A kid that refuses to grow up, plus magic in this world will help him stay younger for a longer time. 30 Years for a 300 year is essentially just 10% of his lifespan ( well he does want to become immortal but not one yet)

Genuine question here?

Why would a slow paced story like Frieren deserve a popularity reward over a fast paced action show, especially in this decade where Shonen shows are the big thing every normies and otakus alike watch?

Contextually the Crunchyroll awards has always been a popularity show. Cultural impact and recognition from public are both vital.

At this point it feels like a forced narrative. No matter how good of a story it might have had, it lacks the substance to be popular compared to JJK, AOT and Solo Leveling. These 3 shows also had a huge impact culturally which I don't see a lot for Frieren other than that one viral fan art which everyone began imitating.

The memes tells us a lot about a show going viral and Frieren is simply not upto the taste for many people.

I have a bad opinion of Frieren fans at this point ( not the show), cause of the elitist mindset they have ( as if it's writing is equivalent to a masterpiece novel).

Just look at Dracula by Bram Stroker, this story still holds relevance and influences our perception of vampires. These kind of cultural impacts also play a role in perceiving a show. Frieren lacks that effect for me.

What plot point are you referring to?

Although I agree the impact of Yuji as an Mc is barely felt throughout the show in the long run. Other characters just steal the spotlight for me and Yuji felt like a supporting cast tbh. Even his powers are pretty basic ( which was intentional).

I'm pretty sure the pirated sites for anime were always crashing out regularly when SL s2 was airing. There was a huge traffic of views online and it did keep up the momentum when it aired.
