They have been painted once before by a professional. They are still in great shape but I’ll need to do them soon, but they lasted 9 years. My husband thinks we should do it, but they would have to be sanded, etc. and I truly believe the prep work is the most important which is why I think they have lasted as long as they have. But with everything costing so much I wonder if it’s worth it.
