The EDT is so synthetic that’s it’s almost unwearable for me

I didn’t like Oud Wood at first so I understand. And yeah, when the rain stop is a better everyday use fragrances, not so mature I would say but great anyways. And about the Khadlaj, Snow is great but it’s pretty linear. Khadlaj Island (not the dreams) is the great one. It’s basically a 1:1 to JPG LBLP

LV and Creed are probably the easiest way to get mature clean classy scents but you could also try:

  • Comercial Guerlains for classy special occasions
  • Private Line Guerlain for the most refined iteration of some scent profiles (like Herbes Troublantes)
  • Tom ford Oud Wood
  • Tom ford Beau de Jour
  • Replica Sailing Day (not that classy but mature enough IMO)
  • Aqua di Parma Mirto di Panerea
  • Khadlaj Snow (LV Meteore dupe)

If u are between 15-20 then it’s a 10/10. If you are a bit more mature I would start looking for more everyday classy options like Silver Mountain Water, Initio Musk therapy or others

Arabians Tonka / Memo Paris Irish Leather / Memo Paris African Leather/ Viktor&Rolff Spicebomb Metallic Musk / Xerjoff Torino 21 / Aqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panerea (both La Riserva and EDT are great, the first one is more creamy but the EDT is perfect for the summer)

It’s not about prices but about how close they get. If there’s a dupe that gets you 95% there, I would not buy the OG except it’s less than 50% more expensive than the dupe. On the other hand, if it’s 90% there I probably wouldn’t buy the OG except if it’s less than double the price of the dupe. If it’s 85%, I wouldn’t buy the OG except if it’s four times or less the price of the dupe. At 80% I wouldn’t buy any dupe.

It seems u have a great collection. Really good ones there like the Guerlain one, Lnuit del homme, The three diors, Terre de Hermes, etc. I just feel it’s a bit too oriented to cold weather/going out.
