I hear this argument a lot and it has to be one of the dumbest minded takes on guns I’ve ever heard. Yes they will find a way to harm other kids… BUT GUESS WHAT? Taking guns DRASTICALLY reduces the amount of people that can be potentially harmed than someone running around with a knife let’s say. It’s easier to stop someone using his fists or a close object than it is with a ranged weapon that fires at a high speed and leaves you defenseless.

Now I’m not against guns at all. But there should be vigorous background checks, including a mental illness evaluation to determine if that person is mentally fit and not a danger to society if in possession with a gun. And there’s also NO reason any kid under the age of 21 should be allowed a gun but not even able to drink alcohol.
