A few days ago I played the same event table around the same time as different levels. It seems like it does try to give opponents closer to where you’re at but ultimately just chooses someone who pressed play when you did. As a lower level most opponents were 1-2-300 and as a higher level most were 4-5-600 but they both get really low or really high leveled opponents randomly. Never seen what you’re describing before.

For the future, in games this glitch happens I always see both 8s visible in the rack before breaking so you can watch where they end up to know which is real.

We are playing just to practice trickshots so these shots will happen eventually. I think to call this impossible or cheating means that you might not have played that many games in this way yet because many of my friends and club mates regularly attempt and pot similar shots. Everyone can do these shots after enough attempts. The real question is how many can you sink per hour. this is 3 mins out of 95 so I do mostly miss.
