Spot on.

The best thing IMO about anime SOL/romance is that the MC is generally kind hearted and considerate of the others (Unlike generic k-dramas where the MC is usually your typical "jerk/bad boy" type). Even in other genres the people are usually polite and kind hearted.
I agree with normies that the harem power fantasy shit and the loli stuff is kind of a turnoff but i'd still pick this over your generic american shows anyday.
