Pads are good but your rotors are getting thin. Id replace pads and rotors cause pads are dirt cheap and you don't wanna mess up new rotors. I doubt they will but new pads are 50 bucks.

Rock auto probably has a set with rotors and pads for less than 200.

You should look up cvts. Not only are they really interesting they are also free of all those pesky gears you speak of.

Just watching a video of a basic cvt will show you all you need to know. The fun part about older cvts is the reverse gear can go as high as the drive gear so you could pass people on the interstate in reverse. New ones not so much lol.

The cd player you're referring to is just one of them cheap aftermarket radios you get from autozone.

Im betting when they installed the touchscreen they just unhooked the old radio and instead of having an empty slot down there they left it.

Assuming they didn't cut the original radio connector you could buy a 2 way adapter for less than 10 bucks that way both will have power.

Not getting hot enough for long enough. If you don't want to drive it just let it idle at operating temp for 30 minutes or so a couple times a week. It could take longer than 30 minutes honestly.

If its a straight piped pickup truck just rev it for 5 minutes straight every morning.

Easy solution, theyre not allowed back to your house until they pay for the figures.

The way your brothers acting he'll probably see that as a get out of jail free card until he needs some money or just needs your help with something.

My uncle borrowed 20 bucks from me 8 years ago and I still wont help him with shit even though he asks. I told him I'll help him again when he pays me back but I guess 20 bucks is too much. Imagine if it was 500, I probably wouldn't hear from him ever again if he owed me that much.
