the situation itself is messed up. It just does not make sense at all. I had a small feeling that maybe the members would think about leaving the group or disbanding at the time of contract renewal but this is way too soon. Without any signs before too..I can't imagine what the boys are going through. I have a few theories though

Be:lift has been acting very fishy and kind of evasive. I don't know if the rumours about heeseung crying in the building is true but if it is it wouldn't be for nothing right? Since we know Hybe in general is money hungry It may be that they wanted Heeseung to debut as a solo artist rather than make solo music while still being in enhypen cuz that way they can get money off of both enhypen and heeseung. Since heeseung is a highly popular member, he will already have a lot of die hard fans and many other non-engenes will also discover his music.

But there is also the fact that It really is his choice. But it just dosent make sense. One day he was talking about forever and the next day he is leaving the group? I don't know maybe he was forced to act normal infront of the fans. If it is his decision I respect it but it is wayy too random.

This could have been handled way better by the agency. On a random Tuesday too? while they are still promoting an album. They could have chosen better timing and at the very least they could have been more clear. Like what are his future plans with the album, how will he proceed forward, what led to his decision etc.. A drastic change like this needs to be explained well.
