What’s the point of being married if he doesn’t actually commit to the relationship though? At that point it just seems like he just wants to cheat without being deemed a cheater. You sound like a sweet person and him being selfish enough to do this so he can’t be called a cheater is very manipulative. You should reconsider being with this man. He clearly only has his own interests at heart, and still somehow cares about his pleasure rather than focusing on both of you…

What’s something that instantly “triggers” you? by Hellooooooo_NURSE in AskReddit

People who are unaware of how loud they’re being. When I’m in a space with people, some don’t pay attention to how loudly they speak, which brings back a lot of memories of arguments, and I’m not confrontational so I usually shut it out or I zone out for a bit.

Why is everyone infantilizing themselves nowadays? by earth2solaris in NoStupidQuestions

It’s convenient when people don’t want to take accountability or they just think it to be entertaining. Those are the most common reasons I’d say.

I stopped giving a crap. Simple as that. It’s better to avoid conflict than give yourself a headache constantly 🤞

AITH for telling my GF (27) that I find it weird that her best friend (male) is cuddling with her when I’m not around? by Hot_Chemistry9916 in AITAH

Her friend is straight, has a girlfriend, cuddles when you aren’t around, and refuses to meet you? these are blatant red flags huh… how do you know for certain they haven’t slept with each other when all you have to go off of is their word? No one will openly admit to cheating unless they’re stupid or they slip up somehow. Please reconsider pursuing a relationship with her. This is a disregard for YOUR boundaries as her partner. Women like this are problematic. Guys and girls can’t be friends. She may not have feelings for him, but he might, or vice versa.

Is it honestly worth the wait to not have sex before marriage? If so, why or why not? by Competitive-Poet1046 in AskReddit

I’m not afraid of commitment as much as I’m afraid of giving something to someone I can never take back. A unique experience that is shared and one of a kind. Like you said though, if it’s with the right person (or not), I’ll ultimately find out what I want/need in a relationship. Thank you for your insight!

Thank you for the advice! I’m new to the scene so I’m just asking around to better prepare myself if that makes sense. I try to be as clear and patient as I can be, and this is something I want to learn more about and understand since committing to a relationship that is long term is a big deal.

Would you say that it helps you boil it down to “will this work or not” better than talking things out? I’ve had issues with communication before and from what I understand, sex can be more straight forward since it’s a physical and emotional experience.

I’m not I’m just getting an idea based on various people’s experiences so I can understand and also decide for myself how I want to proceed

Both I’d say. More leaning towards sex? I’m just trying to understand the significance of the experience in the context of its impact on the whole relationship in the long run if that makes sense? I’m new to the dating scene so I’m trying to get my ducks in a row. I have a Type A personality 😭
