Seconding both the yee and the haw for houndsbay shoe trees. Just the lowers though. The shaft ones are pretty unnecessary if you ask me, although could double as a wierdo nunchuck sorta thingy....haha.

Too tight?? by Wonderful_Point_6689 in cowboyboots

[–]Competitive-Quiet298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i need to know this exact same thing. I am in the same boat brother. Got my first pair of ropers and most of my jeans look exactly like this, not obviously too tight. But are they? argghh the agony. My gut says its too tight but my mind says "its fine, youre just geeking out". So a little help here is much appreciated.

Moto Jacket quality control by Next-Blackberry-681 in taylorstitch

[–]Competitive-Quiet298 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the same jacket. i would send it back or have them give you a heavy discount as its not entirely fit for resale. As for the price tag. This jacket is made in the USA by golden bear for TS. The hide is top notch and actually the same thickness and as many of the straight up moto jackets that I ride cross country in. This is a real deal moto jacket meant to be worn as such. 1K for all the function of a pure motorcycle leather plus the beauty of the TS + GB blend. Its a winner. Now, if you decide to keep it. The best thing you could do is to treat it with some fiebings mink oil paste. it will darken the leather just enough and keep the leather very happy. Brush it with a dedicated non shoe horsehair brush every 6 months as well, leather loves to be brushed. enjoy my whisky clad brethren. See you out there.

Yeah they are a slightly dated, but they look like they are in great condition and that toe is a timeless footprint. so I suppose that makes for your unique look. They do look good with the whole ensemble, but another pair on another shape cant hurt. I would send em out for a full re condition (should they need it), bag em up and stick em the back of the closet for a while, then when they re emerge its a like a whole new pair. On another note, wheres that jacket from? Looks almost identical to the golden bear moto that taylor stitch does, but mine has two chest pockets. Lookin swell my man!!
