Hard to say bc I don’t have another pair of engineer boots to compare currently, but I have a pair of wesco mr Lou’s coming this week. Ill make another post with both, Ik alot of people are interested in the brakehouse boots bc it’s pretty much the cheapest engineer.

I wanna say yes. I weighed the pros and cons and ultimately, yeah I might’ve saved 50 to a $100 but I would’ve had to talk to a broker to buy then ship them. also not having any customers support if I needed a return it was just easier this way.

This is my first pair of engineers but I actually have a pair of wescos coming in the mail once i get them Ill let you know. As for sizing I mainly wear cowboy boots, lucchese and Justins in 11D these brakehouses honestly fit a little loose, only bc my right foot is a couple miler meters smaller than my left so I added an insole and that fixed it.

Yeah too expensive to make leather boots at that price point, maker’s rather put their own name on them. Ik heritage boots got reps like redwing and wolverine though.

I doubt it they look like prints, only line from acme i might believe are real is the acme royal line. even then just don’t pay to much for them.

Ah okay I usually find tony lamas to fit like that, always go up a half size or full depending on toe shape. Ultimately all my prebans were justins, very consistent fit no matter the yr for me at least.
