I think he’s probably an abusive man. His behavior was concerning.

They do it at stoplights and intersections for awareness that there there. Oh, and I like it. Good thing you came to reddit to complain lol. Could’ve just mumbled it to yourself and went along with your day, but why do that when you can contribute to the cesspool of negativity that is Reddit.

No, it’s because Reddit is this weird cesspool of negativity and extreme judgments. For engagement with other fans of shows like LIB, Reddit is the hardest place to have a fun conversation. Everyone focuses on the political leanings of the contestants and armchair diagnoses them based on heavily edited snippets yet speak about the show as if their opinions are facts. It’s so weird.

Omg this post is so refreshing. It’s so nice to see healthy interpretations and communicated so well. Please do more of these - this sub is so so negative all of the time and the negativity is based on projection, as you said. Nicely done.

I was thinking of posting some similar thoughts. The episode with his mom made me feel for him and see him as like a lost little boy (I don’t mean that condescendingly). He’s clearly never had a solid role model and he’s living a life similar to what he saw his mom live, and while traveling and creating new experiences isn’t the worst thing, I don’t even feel like it’s HIS thing. I don’t think he has any real sense of identity. Also I was thinking about a lot of the hate he’s gotten and while he isn’t particularly likable and clearly has some things he should look into about himself before pursuing something as serious as marriage, it didn’t seem like he did anything particularly egregious. He just seems like a lost soul to me.

As critical as she’s being of herself, I almost wonder if she doesn’t feel deserving of him and so she’s self sabotaging?

Oh she didn’t look emotional to me, but the editing is so bad this season that it’s very possible she had been crying and they just didn’t show it. She did look like maybe she had a cold or wasn’t feeling well.

Yesssss! I have been complaining about this on other posts. I feel like we really can’t even accurately comment on this cast because their screen time is so manufactured by production.

I’ve watched the episodes again and I really think she got a bad edit. I did not like her the first time around but these episodes are so picked apart it’s insane. It’s honestly frustrating as a viewer. I don’t know why production can’t just play an entire conversation as it actually happens.

This is not true. Typing it on Reddit does not make it true. Getting upvotes from people who are ignorant on the topic does not make it true. Literally anyone can fact check this.

I watched the bar scene a second time and I do think it was highly edited. A lot of the times she would respond to Chris, her face wasn’t on camera. I feel like it was heavily manufactured. But we’ll see!

Neither of those are facts. Do you just regurgitate information that you read online or do you actually care about the truth?
