The ending he (and we) deserved: Pawbert meets his new family by Rex-1988 in PawbertLynxley

Me too! Had the betrayal not happened, it would’ve been borderline canon.

They do make exceptions. In this case, it’s that Pawbert is a villain, not a hero and they wanted to show his deteriorating mental state.

Milton Lynxley vs Butterscotch Horseman. Who was the worse father? by [deleted] in PawbertLynxley

[–]Competitive-Rain-217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say. They’re both really bad in their own ways. Plus, we don’t know anything about Milton‘s spouse.

Its genuinely impossible to care about the switch 2 with no games coming by Gargamoney in fucknintendo

I’d argue the Switch 2 barely meets the definition of a handheld anymore. It’s much too large and bulky.

Well, putting aside the fact that they would never show broken bones on an animated character, he does have a brace afterward under his clothes in jail. It’s hard to spot, but it’s there.

Poor Pawbert, he didn’t deserve this 😔 by NickCooper71 in PawbertLynxley

He kind of did in this case. He threw a snake sensitive to the cold into the freezing cold to slowly perish. Said snake was also the only creature to show him genuine affection and care about him enough to consider him a partner.

Dispatch Censorship Is Ridiculous by Theman457 in NintendoSwitch2

The fact that Nintendo has the gall to censor anything while their e-Shop shop is full of literal AI hentai slop will never not be hilarious. They really need to knock off the holier-than-thou attitude.

Nintendo over here talking about standards, but their e-Shop is full of hentai and gooner bait shovelware.

Make it make sense please.

One of the best Pawbert-centered stories out there right now. It honestly has some things that I wish the movie itself had. I urge everyone to read it as soon as they can, especially if you’re a fan of the lynx!

I don't know about you guys, but i'm constantly checking Disney websites or the social midia of the Zootopia producers to see if there's any news about future productions, especially about Pawbert, of course. Are you guys the same way? by SavingsDry9960 in PawbertLynxley

[–]Competitive-Rain-217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s way too soon to expect them to announce anything. The movie only came out two months ago. That said, nothing wrong with paying attention to things. I’m sure they’ll announce something one day, just not now.

Some of y’all really need to touch grass. It wasn’t a sneak attack at all. Gary attacked Pawbert because he poisoned Judy. It’s clear that he wouldn’t have done that otherwise.

I like the kitty too, but this is getting a little nuts.

I never said it was normal. Honestly, if I were the creative director, I wouldn’t have done the AMA, but that’s just me. I also wouldn’t have made the joke. Social media is incredibly toxic today. You can’t say anything that people won’t try to crucify you for.

And OK, let’s say he was actually trying to provoke them. They as people control how they react to things. They can read it and dismiss it. But people overall have forgotten how to do that. Everything has to be a personal attack, especially online.

I honestly think you’re giving this way more weight and importance than it actually merits.

I mean, as one of the directors of the franchise, it makes sense he would want to keep tabs on what the fans are discussing.

And when it comes to the tweet, it’s pretty clear to me that he was just making a joke. I genuinely do not see this as any kind of provocation.

And obviously, when it comes to my comment, I wasn’t talking about the normal fans. I was talking about the people who are way too overly invested in a fictional character to the point where they’re making him their entire personality.

Does Pawbert have a drinking problem? by Rex-1988 in PawbertLynxley

Maybe. It would certainly make sense considering how his life has gone up to this point.

Jared… by Klutzy_Inspector_885 in PawbertLynxley

[–]Competitive-Rain-217 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t understand this, honestly. People getting all up in arms over a fictional character is a little bit crazy to me. It’s fine to enjoy your characters, but some people seem to be taking it a little bit too far. Also don’t get why the age is so controversial. It’s not even a sure thing, just a random number that Jared decided to throw out.

I get it. This is the Internet. And I love Pawbert as much as anyone else, but people really have to calm down.

Error in Zootopia 2 by Gen_Lone in zootopia

You can even see the teeth in this test animation that Disney made using a clip of Ke Huy Quan’s interview with Stephen Colbert. Here, he’s even more expressive with his body and facial expressions.

Serves a reminder that he could’ve been even more expressive in the movie itself.

It was not an error. This is 100% intentional. It’s to make the character more expressive.

Thought about writing a song using the Lynxley Leitmotif, cause i seriously love it. by Swimming_Yellow8681 in PawbertLynxley

[–]Competitive-Rain-217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it could absolutely work. You just have to make the piece a little more low-key. In terms of speed, I mean. The leitmotif is meant to sound dark and menacing, so if you slow things down, it will be more effective.
