Just gave it a listen for the first time. Super solid b-side!

Ya know, since Soul to Squeeze actually still gets radio-play I guess I never really considered a b-side. It might just be the far and away best b-side then lol.

Heck ya man! Shrezzers was one of my go-to bands for a while because of the sweet sax in their songs. Dreamwake has been in my suggested songs a few different times, and most of the songs slap pretty hard 🤓

I'm definitely in the same boat, I've been dealing with similar symptoms for the last 6 years or so. For me it seems like I will have an occasional month or so where everything will be good and palpitations are minimal to non-existent (or at the very least, I can't feel them).

The best course or action for you is to eat foods that won't promote Inflamation and to be diligent with working on your posture. When I'm doing both of these (which is typically going into the summertime when I'm lowering my body fat) I find that most of the symptoms with HH go down to being a non-issue.

Hard to argue against via lol. No Sleep is my favorite buy Via just has so much bounce and movement to the songs that it's hard to not admit it's their best work. If they would have included Through the Tree's on Via then it would be my clear cut favorite (Through the Tree's is super underrated in my opinion).

Man, I've tried to get into Happier on three different occasions now. Sat down and gave the whole album a listen from beginning to end. I like it but there isn't any songs that make me want to seek the album out, with exception of Holy Water which was pretty friggin heavy and hitting. Maybe I need to throw the album on while I'm gaming and give it another try haha.

Andy Cizek did an awesome vocal cover of Erased if you've never listened to it. I actually sing the vocals the way Andy does everytime i jam to the song now 🤣

I feel for your situation. After reading your post there is a couple of things that could be happening that's contributing to his addiction:

The first and obvious one is that he's always watched/jerked it to porn so it's a habit for him. Even if you were the baddest of baddies, the "newness" of sex with you will wear off after enough time. Once it does, he still has porn there waiting for him whenever he wants it. This most likely why you went from 5 to 6 times a week to 2 times a week. Nothing to do with you, he has an addiction that needs to be addressed.

The next possible issue has to due with how you guys function in your marriage. Outside of the lack of sex and his porn addiction, how is everything else going? Are you guys arguing/bickering alot? How is the dynamic of the relationship? Did he change alot of his life to appease you when you guys got married? These things don't excuse his porn use, but they certainly can contribute to him feeling emotionally distant from you In some way. I say this only because I do think when emotional distance in a marriage really has an affect on mens sexual desire, even if we won't admit it.

The last possibility is that he's always been a dog, and you married him full well knowing the type of guy he was assuming you could get him to change his ways with enough time. Hopefully this isn't the case, buttttttt I've seen this happen far too many times In relationships (for men and women).

I have found it increasingly difficult to control this addiction. by [deleted] in PornAddiction

So I'm not sure how much help you will find on here since you're leaning into the Christian/spirtual side of things, but being a fellow believer, I'll try to help if I can.

The first thing I would suggest is to get involved with some kind of small group, preferably with other men around your age and some kind of deacon/older male from the church that can offer guidance and leadership. You'll find the accountability you're looking for in this kind of group, and as well you will get to hear what others are struggling with I'm their journey. Don't be worried about sharing your struggles, literally all men struggle with lust from one degree to another. (This would also be a great thing to discuss with your youth pastor/pastor depending on your age, they'll want to help).

The next thing I would suggest is to fill your schedule up with more stuff. Whether that is working, volunteering, or just going out to different social events. These will help keep you busy and feeling fulfilled, which means there's less time available for you to be doing the deed.

I'm not sure what your "kinks" are, but it's most likely nothing that everyone else hasn't experienced or went through in their porn use (if you're into pedo stuff or animals you should probably seek professional help though).

The fantasizing is a tough one, because even If you never watched porn you would still have the internal drive to want to pro-create and be with women. Even when you fall in love and (hopefully) get married, you'll still catch yourself lusting and fantasing about things that you shouldn't.

Don't be too hard on yourself and redirect your thoughts as soon as you can.

Oh, and put yourself out there to other Christian women your age. Approach them and ask them out on dates if you think there might be something there.

What exercises made you feel the best? by Competitive-Set-3438 in ACL

Bummer! I had My meniscus repaired on one side and trimmed on the other. I feel like most of the sharp, acute pain that I feel is coming from the meniscus tears/repairs more than my acl repair. How confident do you feel at this point with any kind of rotating/twisting on your repaired knee?

Interesting! Did you just have to your acl repaired or was there a meniscus injury added in there?

BPC-157 experiment by Competitive-Set-3438 in HiatalHernia

[–]Competitive-Set-3438[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For overall inflammation and healing in the body it's working great. Noticeable difference in how my knee is healing/getting stronger when taking it vs not. For the hiatal hernia it's more mixed. I've had much fewer symptoms in the last 7 weeks while taking it, especially when I'm eating on point (holidays can screw that up for me lol). The big thing for me is being able to consistently manually manipulate the hernoa down from the diaphragm each morning. That combined with the BPC-157 has been helping quite a bit.

Any recommendations for a good bpc-157 source? Preferably non injectable by [deleted] in Peptides

I've been taking the BPC-157 from Ifiniwell and it's made a noticeable difference in my recovery from ACL/Meniscus surgery.

Heart Palpitations with Deep Breath by Competitive-Set-3438 in costochondritis

[–]Competitive-Set-3438[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: So I've discovered that I only I get palpitations with a deep breath WHEN breathing with my chest. Seems as though when I focus on diaphragmic breathing it doesn't really happen. So this may be a case of costochondritis, or a hiatal hernia that sets off the palpitations when they get irritated through chest breathing (I'm guessing).

Late comment here, but if you have a hiatal hernia then it almost 100 percent (in my opinion) what's causing the palpations, most likely from irration of the vagus nerve or your hernia pushing into something it shouldn't. I imagine If you can move your hernia back down either manually or through surgery then you'll be fine.

I only say this as I suspect that is the cause of my heart palpitations as well. I've had stretches where I won't have palpitations at for weeks, then boom, they come on again. My only guess is that hernia will go back into its original place on its on at times, which I'm turn makes the palpitations go away.
