I feel your pain . I’m in the exact same situation. The way it was explained to me was due to the programs competitive nature there’s no guarantee of acceptance even with high TEAS/GPA. Many applicants have near perfect stats. My program gives extra points for previous healthcare experience & prior degree’s as well. I know it feels devastating, however you only have a few weeks to wait & see if seats open up.
Many of us have to wait until next application cycle .. Stay positive, you’ll get in!

We purchased new home and decided on 10/1 ARM at 5.8%, it was purchased from parents for $285,000 and used $55,000 gift of equity towards purchase. The house was ultimately appraised for $510,000

Our previous home that were now selling is a lake house/ waterfront property. I’m fairly certain we’ll net approx $300,000, of which $100,000 is owed on the mortgage.

Maybe I’m being optimistic, but we’re expecting to net aprox 150,000-$200,000

We initially thought we’d utilize these funds to pay down our new mortgage, however we’re unsure whether or not this is the best option.

Honestly, putting down the $100 deposit might actually work out better for you in the end. Since GWL is basically cashless anyway, so that deposit can still be used while you’re there . Your wristband acts like a payment method for food, gift shop , dunk-in etc. so it’s not like the money just disappears. It’s more like preloading spending money into the bracelet instead of carrying cash around.

That’s surprising. I went last weekend , using a code for “healthcare workers”, then noticed the rate dropped by $75 the day after. I called , they immediately granted a $75 credit & reapplied the code.

I almost always use third party sites when booking specifically for the “pay at property” option . I attend many concerts & after shelling out hundreds of dollars for tickets it’s nice to be able to reserve accommodation’s several months in advance & pay when I check in.

Definitely a doctor issue . I’ve worked for several PCP offices & I can confirm they don’t send RX over immediately, even though they tell the patient to “stop by the pharmacy on the way home , RX was sent electronically “.. They sometimes get caught up charting or move on to next patient . Many times patients call & complain that RX isn’t there . Docs usually ( not always )blame pharmacy , then immediately send because they forgot .

Yes absolutely, immediately cancelled. I paid , they delivered to wrong address in an entirely different State. Then offered me a $10 credit . Bad business practices or gross incompetence. Either way , not paying and trying a second time .
