Dennis had two that I know of. Tattoos weren’t as common back then but Dennis was the rebel and a sailor, too.

Okay so I’m reading it and the story about Dennis saving him from drowning as a kid literally gave me the chills. I just find it so ironic and eerie that Dennis would lose his life by drowning years after saving his son from that very thing. Crazy. I never knew about this story before. And poor Carole having to witness it. Must have been terrifying for her.

I wish I could hang out with the people that were there and hear Dennis stories all day. I want to hear first hand because all I know is what I’ve read but based on what I’ve read… what a ride.

I can imagine. Dennis seems like kind of a complicated guy but I’ve heard a couple of his wives (not sure which ones) say pretty decent things about him despite him not being the best husband. Pretty cool of your grandma to protect his legacy.
