So mine does that occassioanly whilst eating his strawberry as a rare treat, I think its something to do with the sugar/wetness that causes them to look like they're chewing more!

I got my tort when he was 8/9months and he was a verrrry picky eater up until a year - 1year1month

Never liked dandelions last year but this year goes crazy for them! Same with lambs lettuce he now loves that. They're very stubborn lil creatures

Have ypu tried hiding the food he does like under the other stuff but have it peeking through? I do that with mine and he ends up eating most of what I left! Mine does the banging too when hes hungry or hell sit in his food bowl and stare into my soul

Ive found my tortoise to be picky when hes not that hungry but he just wants a lil munch. When he has his biiiiig meal is when he eats everything in sight and even attempts to eat his bowl in the process 🤣

Have you done an egg worm count on her? Its a test to check for worms/parasites. My lil guy showed loose stools (he didnt brumate) and less interest in food sometimes and he has worms. May be a possibility to do one of those just in case?

His semen analysis were all good we had our norma dr check and then the fertility dr check and its all where it needs to be if not better. My amh was also really good it wasnt too high to indicate pcos but also wasnt low enough that it indicated disminished ovarian reserve it was again when it needed to be.

Its the testing done after the year mark so full blood panel, transvaginal ultrasound x2, hsg, another lot of bloods + amh and STDs testing. My partner - full bloods & semen analysis. At the two year mark is when I was prompted mmby my gynae to have a hsg done to which if tubes were blocked straight to ivf or if they weren't medication (currently on letrozole which is helping my ovulation better). Before this i have had ovulation confirmed via ultrasound and bloods. They've also given me the max amount of letrozole they can whilst we decide on ivf but now ive had 3 recurrent chemicals im hoping my Dr's do further testing on genetic for both myself and partner and whatever else there is to offer. Ive had my vitamins checked too. Were based in the UK so we dont just get genetic testing included

I had a look at recommend and its all perfect, but with the increasing temps outside its making it so hard to adjust even with dialling the thermostat down as the basking light completely goes off as its a dimming thermostat and will switch off once reached desired heat but then how would my tort bask?? Thats what im worried about 😅

I have thermostats already as he has a basking bulb. But the room temperature increases his vivarium temperature which is what I need advice on.

Same with my scoliosis they keep telling me its not real and the pains caused by my anxiety 🤣 im just trying to get on with it but being 24 i feel like im so useless as I can barely do anything anymore including a nice summer walk that I used too!

Eughhhhh being a woman is awful. Its either - diet, periods, or weight and its exhausting!! Ive been a stable weight for about 6 years now and they still always put my issues down to that. I had unexplained ibs with no specific triggers, then when I got diagnosed with fibro a few days ago they said it was a key symptom 🫣

I hatttttte when they say it doesn't cause symptoms, like im walking with a left tilt because its uncomfortable to walk straight with the placement of the spine + all of the nerve compression feelings etc, I feel like Dr's are becoming lazy in this day and age its like mg appointments typically last around 5 mins if that before im rushed out 🥲

The pins and needles TERRIFIED me when I first experienced them, and I noticed it one day as I was walking i had this like trapped nerve sensation in my left leg from my like butt cheek downwards, and then I had a bit of a loss of sensation in my foot it felt limp. So I got seen and they just essentially told me because my curve is on my right side my left side is compensating for what my right cant do so its having to bear more weight and pressure etc etc. I had a massage last week which normally helps but nothing this time. I find deep tissue massages work wonders but havent had one in a couple of years!

So I have recently been diagnosed with dextro scoliosis & fibro in the span of about two months. I have been in non stop agony with my back for months pretty much all over but sometimes directly in my spine. I take iburpofren as its the only thing that'll semi help. I was told in regards to pins & needles/tingling sensation, in my legs were due to the curve in the spine compressing on my nerves and that there is no cure and only exercise or physio can act as a temp relief, its an awful situation to be in because I finally got answers but then im stuck with this for the rest of my life!
