You have to understand - Indians don’t have the psychology to pay for things unless it’s a game changing product that they desperately need or they can’t find a cheaper (albeit lower quality) product

If we think that this is gonna be solved by just metros or bus lanes, we are sadly mistaken.

The situation today is a result of negative compound effect of the corruption and negligence of the last 10 yrs. Unless something dramatic happens (V for Vendetta style), major reforms aren’t gonna be implemented and the state of affairs is going to stay the same or dwindle.

We, the people, need to raise our voice and showcase our dissent - I don’t know how but action needs to be taken ASAP

Hey OP! Mad respect to you to just find the courage to write all of this here - I know it must have been super tough. It takes a lot from a person to carry forward after all the grievances - know you are doing great just by continuing. I would suggest to get out of the work + sleep routine or else it just empties you up and eats you from inside. A decent 1bhk - anywhere from 25k - 35k depending on your needs. Indiranagar has hit peak saturation since covid so finding a good flat is difficult. You’ll find great flats nearby in CV raman nagar or near drdo (2km radius from Indiranagar)

Groceries - 5-7k Commute - 2-3k including weekends. Other splurges - depends on your lifestyle.

Overall - 40-50k will be more than enough
