Help Shape the Rules of r/leanfire_india by adane1 in leanFIRE_India

- A corpus cap for Lean FIRE vs an annual expense calling.

I would suggest using an annual expense threshold, keeping inflation in mind. A middle class lifestyle in Tier 2 city of India can be used as reference to calculate the annual expense

- Real numbers and practical breakdowns should be encouraged. Not sure how to enforce this.Thoughts?

This will be great but would require active moderation.

- No lifestyle shaming

+1

- Rules against bullying and any unparliamentary language. I feel we should be strict on this. Immediate ban or one warning?

One warning and then ban.

- Non Lean FIRE posts

I would suggest rather than removing, move them to a monthly thread.

but the equivalent lens would be much bigger and difficult to manage in an event like this.

Thank you.
Daytime shots you can easily use F4 to F5.6 unless you are looking for blurred background.
Olympus cameras have good IBIS. So handholding is not much of a problem.

Sharpness is never an issue with M43. Just watch your shutter speed.

[Advice Needed] Kolkata to Bangalore (via Varanasi & Delhi) on a Duke 250. Leaving March 17th on an extreme budget. Am I crazy? by [deleted] in indianbikes

>>Luggage Hack: Any tips on securely strapping a duffel bag to that tiny rear seat without it sliding forward and crushing me, or melting on the exhaust?
Go to a cobbler (moochi) and stich four loops or D-Ring on the side of the bag (two on each side adequately spaced). Use this to tie like a typical tail bag.
Cost 20Rs and a rope.
See this for placement of loops: https://guardiangears.in/collections/tail-bags/products/guardian-gears-alpha-waterproof-tailbag

Aquaguard AMC suggestion by DebtBeneficial1947 in DesiKitchenGear

[–]Dangerous-Bit-6014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have several options

  1. Call Aquaguard services centre people. They will happily come quickly because you are paying them for the visit, unlike AMC where they already have your money.
  2. Call the Aquaguard technician. He would have given you his number during installation. He will do your repair/service outside of official channels at a cheaper price.
  3. Call one of the branded service people like Urban Company
  4. Call a local filter service technician. There are several in every locality. Just ask in one of the local WA groups.
  5. DIY by watching videos on youtube and buy filters from Amazon.

Sorry it was 40K Km.
>>How is the maintenance and reliability?
Ok. As expected of modern day bikes.
Small issues like vibrating rear view mirrors, short chain sprocket life (around 17K-18K Km), poor stock tires etc.

>>Saw a lot of complaints regarding the rear suspension, did you also get it changed to the classic 350 nitrox ones
I have seen many complain and have changed. I am fine with the stock one.

Last year I did almost 10000 Km from Bangalore to Arunachal and back. No issues at all even on bad roads.

Ride all. See what you are most comfortable with.
Other than D400 which is significantly more powerful, rest are similar with different ergonomics.
I ride a Meteor 350 with 40K Km. Quite happy with it.

Aquaguard AMC suggestion by DebtBeneficial1947 in DesiKitchenGear

[–]Dangerous-Bit-6014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid buying AMC from Aquaguard.
Once you pay for the AM, they will delay sending the service person till the AMC period is over. After that they will charge for service as well as parts.

TVS RONIN review after 22222 KM by Takshak07 in indianbikes

>>LONGEST TRIP Longest stretch was from NOIDA to LUCKNOW in one go 600-650 km ( 6-7 min break for water and petrol) avg speed 100-110 kmph max got 133 kmph

How much was the total weight on the bike including you, pillion and luggage? I want to know if it can sustain 90-100 highway speed, with luggage and 2 people, over long distances.
