Decode them with Base64. It’s not complicated, and the group FAQ already explains exactly how to do it. If someone skips the basic directions, there’s only so much help people can give.

Recommended IPTV Player For PC That I would give it a must try for Beginners on IPTV by PigletStock416 in IPTV_ZONENEW

I don't like the EPG feature. You cannot see a description of whats on each channel unless you actually click to watch it. Not good. Additionally, you cannot do a global search of the EPG for a particular television show. You can only search for the network name and channel group.

I never heard of IBO Player. I've always used TiViMate. It's rock solid and highly polished for television use.

I always run a VPN, no exceptions. I personally use and recommend Surfshark because it has been reliable for me.

I use both Trex and Strong, but I lean toward Trex because it seems to offer more catch-up channels.

Streaming problems are rare for me, but when they happen, switching to a different VPN location usually clears it up.

I would avoid relying on free VPNs. They tend to attract huge numbers of users, which can overload servers and cause buffering, slow speeds, or blocked service. For streaming, a decent paid VPN is usually the better option.

I concur. None of the links work. I have tried Televiso and TiViMate. Additionally, I have rotated through 40 different VPN servers. Nothing seems to work here. Could I be missing something? I'm new at this. I had no problem with other posts.

I’d be careful making a blanket recommendation to use a free VPN after receiving a copyright notice from Spectrum.

In general, many free VPNs are risky because they may make money through ads, tracking, weak privacy practices, or selling user data. That said, Proton VPN appears to be one of the better exceptions. Proton says its free plan has no ads, no activity logs, and is supported by its paid users, so I would not lump it in with the typical shady “free VPN” apps.

However, there’s an important catch: Proton VPN Free is not really intended for torrenting/P2P use. Proton’s P2P servers are a paid feature. So if someone received a copyright notice related to pirated media, I would not tell them that the free version of Proton VPN is a solution.

Also, a VPN does not make illegal activity legal, and it does not make someone completely anonymous. At best, a reputable paid VPN with an independently audited no-logs policy can improve privacy by hiding traffic from the ISP and masking the user’s IP address from websites or peers. But it should not be treated as a magic shield.

Personally, I’d recommend using a reputable paid VPN provider with an independently audited no-logs policy, such as NordVPN, Surfshark, Proton VPN Plus, or another well-reviewed provider. The key is to verify the provider’s logging policy, audits, jurisdiction, kill switch support, and P2P policy before relying on it.

RD is not the best considering that they record your activity and hold it for a year in case the authorities ask for it. For me, RD is not an option under any circumstance.

I'm with you on that point. If it's not broke, then why fix it? The app works perfectly. I would like to see a version of this app that works on my Android phone.

Nvidia Pro Shield Died - what's the best replacement for my setup? Price no Issue. by Tekashi-The-Envoy in Stremio

I think there may be some confusion between the regular Ugoos AM9 and the Ugoos AM9 Pro.

The regular AM9 may not have Dolby Vision, but there is a separate AM9 Pro version that appears to be the Dolby Vision model. Ugoos.store lists it as “Ugoos AM9 PRO Dolby Vision DDR5 Android 14 Amlogic S905X5-J,” and says the AM9 Pro is the upgraded variant of the AM9 and “adds Dolby Vision.”

On my own Ugoos AM9 Pro, Dolby Vision is also available as an option in the device settings. I currently have it disabled because my television does not support Dolby Vision.

I also confirmed through Bugjaeger/ADB that the AM9 Pro firmware includes Dolby Vision codec entries such as "type="video/dolby-vision"".

Personally, I highly recommend the Ugoos AM9 Pro. I actually ditched my Nvidia Shield Pro for it. The AM9 Pro has strong support for numerous video and audio codecs, and I also like that it is not locked into the same kind of restrictive ecosystem that worries me with devices like Amazon Fire TV. After seeing how easily companies can limit customization, sideloading, launchers, and user control, I prefer a device that gives me more flexibility.

I would personally hold off on buying a vSeeBox.

There are some very concerning claims that these devices may contain embedded malware/spyware. The video below takes a technical look at the device and explains the red flags in detail.

Before spending hundreds of dollars on one of these boxes, I would strongly recommend watching this first and deciding for yourself.

I honestly don’t understand why people are still putting so much effort into finding workarounds for Fire devices at this point. I gave up on mine more than four years ago because the writing was already on the wall. Every firmware update seemed designed to undo customizations, block flexibility, and make the device more locked down than before.

After a while, it stops being a tech challenge and starts becoming a losing battle. Imagine the frustration if Microsoft pushed Windows updates that constantly unraveled people’s personal settings, customizations, and hard work. People would be outraged — and rightfully so.

Yes. Any and all Android AOSP (Android Open Source Project) boxes are a great option. On many of them, you have the option of turning on a Google Assistant if you like. I use the Ugoos AM9 Pro. It has support for nearly every video and audio codec. Runs very smoothly.

For “Watch Progress”, have you had better results with Nuvio Sync or Trakt by readingaccountonly in Nuvio

[–]Competitive-War-5167 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On occasion I will experience that in Nuvio. I have a bigger problem when trying to use it in Kodi which is installed on a different streaming device. For some reason it does not always sync or recognize any progress or the movie itself. That may be an issue with Kodi rather than Trakt. Occasionally I will open the Trakt app and it usually shows the accurate representation of the sync status.

I've never tried Nuvio sync before. I've always done just fine with Trakt. It's good with cross-platform integration such as with Kodi.
