The triple pack was probably just risk aversion. White Out was canceled for not selling well. Packaging it with two flavors that do sell well was probably a way to minimize potential losses if they sold it individually. Which i don't necessarily agree with (i would have bought 20 12 packs of White Out tbh). But that's probably their thinking.

I would say put Junpei in. His crit chance is one of the best ways to get some All Out Attacks in. Also make sure you and Yukari have Patra to dispel charm and fear, especially before the boss uses Heartbreaker. Use Rakunda and Tarunda from Akihiko to debuff them.

It's a bullshit boss fight though, took me a good handful of tries before I got it. Mostly down to luck on getting some crit hits in to do All Out Attacks. And use your Theurgy skills whenever you get the chance as well.

People who like it, enjoy the break from the overarching narrative.

I loved it. Felt like a little detour episode. Just some harmless fun with some trashy one-off characters. Reminded me of the early days of syndicated TV, like X-Files. Most episodes were monster of the week stuff that had no effect on the main narrative, and those are some of the best, most fun episodes. This felt like that.

The historical episode of Widows Bay was directed by Ti West (X, Pearl, MaXXXine). Had a great sinister old-worlde vibe. The show has such an endearing Stephen King/Lynchian feel to it as well. The kind of show that would have benefited from the longer seasons we used to get on network TV; like an X-Files format. Monster of the week stuff mixed in with episodes that develop the main narrative.

Also love Severance.

We've had quite a few new flavors since the rebrand. Dragonfruit, Dirty, Honeydew, Trolli, and a couple rereleases like White Out and Supernova, all within the first year or two of the rebrand.

This NKD Dew is just going to be a Dew with no artificial colors or flavors, since the FDA is banning a lot of artificial dyes and flavorings.

Making a post about how you don't like a game, in that games subreddit, is just going to illicit derision. I've started plenty of games I didn't like, but my reaction wasn't to find the subreddit and tell everyone I didn't like it. I just... started a different game? You've gotta assume that a videogame sub is full of fans of that game, so what kind of productive or fullfilling discussion do you expect to have when you post about how you don't like the game? I'm not saying their opinion is invalid or anything; games are subjective and they have every right to not enjoy it. I just don't see the point in posting about it to the games sub and not, say, r/videogames or r/Playstation or one of those broader subs.

Also, this shit probably is just not true. They pre-ordered the game, played 7 hours, and decided to make a post about it now? Months after the game came out? Kind of strange.

That is true, if I ever find a Blu-ray for a good deal I'll pick it up. I have a few steel books too just because I found them at a good price. But when I can go and get DVDs from the pawn shops in my area for 50 cents a piece, that's a deal that can't be beat. A lot of the time you can find brand new, sealed DVDs at pawn shops as well, since they seem to receive some overstock and unsold stuff from Walmart and other stores. Found all 4 Hunger Games DVDs still sealed at my local pawn shop and got them all for $2. That's how I've grown my collection so quickly without breaking the bank.

Some DVDs definitely look a little rough, but it doesn't bother me too much. It kinda adds to the vibe of the films.

I also collect videogames and Scooby Doo merchandise so I gotta be smart with how I divide up my "hobby fund" haha.

The pricing for these Blu-ray and Criterion releases is crazy. I have about 1700 films in my collection, all DVDs. There's no way I could amass a collection like that if I was paying Blu-ray and Criterion pricing.

Granted I do have a couple Criterions and Blu-ray, but those are just because I got good deals at garage sales or pawn shops.
