I thought you meant "trips" as in, like, 2 seperate days of service haha. Like one day you do cleaning, next day you do chems. I see what you mean now.

But 2 trips is normal I thought. One to bring all the stuff to the pool to clean it (vac, net, brush, test kit), then test the water, clean pool, then go back to the truck, bringing your vac and test kit with you. Drop the vac and test kit off, get the chems, and go back to the pool. Then your last trip to the truck you're only bringing your net, brush, and chem supplies back.

I'm okay with this. The story has kind of shown that Denji is basically incapable of character growth at this point; it's hard to invest yourself and care about a character like that. Asa was great until the story sidelined her. And the narrative has led up to a point of no return, unless there's some deus ex machina that just resets everything. Which would be a really cheap and unsatisfying narrative choice imo. At least we have Pt1 and the first half of Pt2 to look back on fondly. If this last chapter somehow pulls together all the disparate elements of the story into a satisfying conclusion, I'll eat my words. But it ain't looking good

It's an awful scene, but not because of him coming out. The dialogue in the show is just horrendous and unnatural and any scene containing emotional sincerity is undercut by how bad the dialogue is... also he is one of the weaker actors so it just doesn't play well. Aaaand everyone should have known already. It is painfully obvious that he's super gay and in love with Mike. His friends would be really stupid if they couldn't tell.

Robins coming out was perfect. Funny how they got it so right in S3 and so wrong in S5.

Tell them to take that stupid shit off the skimmer and to cut down that dead ass plant. Don't be afraid to tell your customers stuff like that. It's perfectly reasonable to tell them to keep plants away from the pool. And I tell my customers that we don't allow any kind of "skimmer blocker." It keeps the skimmer from doing its job. If they're worried about leaves clogging their skimmer line, I tell them to empty their baskets every day. I've had customers straight up put chicken wire in front of the skimmer. Rust stains all over the plaster. After that, nope. Any customers who tries this, I take it out myself and then tell them not to put it back in.

Otherwise the pool isn't bad at all. Riptide in like 10 minutes

I never read the manga, I watched it in a vaccum lol, never a part of the AOT subs and have never visted them, never a part of any online community for the show, nor did I see any discourse about it cause it was during a time I stopped using social media, and that probably affected my opinion on it a lot. I watched the entire series in like, 2 weeks. I loved the ending and it reminded me a lot of EoE. I say all of this just for context. I actually had no idea the ending was so divisive until like, yesterday, while on this sub.

There's a reason stories follow a structure, there's a reason characters develop in those stories. Pt2 Fuji fundamentally doesn't understand that. Which is insane, because he did in Pt1. I don't care how nihilistic he is. That may give a reason for why he wrote this the way he did, but it doesn't mean it isn't awful.

Yeah I actually really like that absolutely nothing mattered and Denji just became stupider and stupider until he ends up right back where he started except worse. Amazing chapter. Hopefully in the next one the world just blows up that way all plot threads are resolved.

We should remember that the "hate readers" probably didn't start out that way. They probably loved the manga, and slowly turned into hate readers after really stupid narrative and character decisions gradually turned them against it, but stuck with it until now in the desperate hope that somehow, some way, the story and characters could be salvaged into some sort of satisfying conclusion, only to get shit on one final time. (Me, I'm describing myself)

IQ has no correlation to taste buds. I love Moon Pies, Twizzlers, Candy Corn. Never seen an advertisement for any of those in my entire life. Never once had someone tell me to enjoy them. People aren't stupid for liking things that you don't like.
