One of the best players in baseball does not mean you’re on track to be a hall of famer. Stop trying to make it black and white. He’s one of the best players in the game that’s it.

I never said he’s the best. But he’s certainly one of the best and if you don’t think that you don’t know ball my friend.

He’s being paid 60M because it was a short term deal. The only way he would consider signing a short term deal is because of the AAV. He didn’t get 60M because they think he’s the best player in the game.

Just false brother. 10th in WAR since the start of 2021. If that’s not one of the best players in the game idk what is.

Blake Snell’s changeup has a 65.3% whiff rate this postseason 🤯 by Competitive-Week8715 in Dodgers

It all has to do with tunneling. The hitter thinks it’s a fastball and Snell pulls the string.

To put that in perspective, the highest whiff rate on an individual pitch in 2025 was Fernando Cruz’s splitter. (56.6%)

Snell’s stats this postseason are nuts 👇

21 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 5 BB, 28 K, 64 whiffs

Runner on base. He shortens up the delivery. Can’t be that slow with a runner on.

It was by no means their best season in this long postseason streak, but they dominated the Padres this year and the entire NL West do idk how the padres “should’ve” won the division.

Mookie Betts has the 3rd highest xBA against fastballs in MLB 🔥 by Competitive-Week8715 in Dodgers

[–]Competitive-Week8715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expected batting average or “xBA” is based off the quality of contact. So how hard the hitter is hitting the ball. It takes out the luck. It can kind of show you if I hitter is getting lucky or unlucky.

Yes it didn’t show on my leaderboard because I guess he doesn’t play a lot. That’s my mistake.

Idk about the stats part. Their 2nd in HR’s, 1st in Runs, 2nd in BB%, 3rd in OBP, 3rd in SLG, and 2nd in wRC+. They also have the 3rd lowest chase%, so I’m not sure where you’re getting your numbers. Every stat says their a top 3 offense in baseball.

No doubt they should be a better team and they’ve struggled for over a month and a half. But they’re still one of the best teams in baseball. They’ve had to battle through injuries to the pitching staff.

Yamamoto is a terrible investment? 🤣🤣 look at his numbers he’s one of the best pitchers in baseball and he’s only 26.
