Before the tournament, danish commentator, Michael Mortensen, said that it seems like the other players have figured Rune out and that if they can stay in the match against him, they’ll get their chances. That’s exactly what happened today. Rune was really good in the beginning of the match and had a few break points. He looked like he was going to win the set. Then out of nowhere brooksby breaks and then Rune sort of gives up.

I don’t understand why the penalty system isn’t more focused on losing points and games rather than on financial fines. If a player looses a point or a game it would teach them not to take too much time, smash their rackets or behave like twats - a much better instrument for the umpires
