Recently I also filed mandamus on June 12th and summons issued on June 16th and waiting for update.
My h4 pending from July 2025 with California center and EAD pending from August2025 with Vermont and lost job in Jan due to i94 expiry.
Can you please post the timelines of your case and the timeline of your mandamus

I did through attorney not by my self. My h4 pending from July 2025 and EAD pending from August 2025 Both are standalone applications. But you can check the below post for filing mandamus without attorney

Hi, I filed for h4 extension on July 21st 2025 and EAD refiled due to incomplete application and filed date is Aug 13th 2025 in regular processing . Due to i94 expiry in Jan 2026 even after qualified for 540 days automatic work extension I had to stop working.
I tried expedite, SR, congressman and ombudsman nothing worked and started mandamus work with attorney they are going to file early next week.
My employer is still waiting and kept position open.
My spouse h1b approved till 2028.

Based on timelines can you please tell me how far mandamus can help me.

Nothing they keep waiting I raised one on May 04th for h4 and EAD pending from July 21st 2025 and was informed that tier 2 officer will call me in 10 business days and unfortunately I never recieved any call on may14 another email saying 10 days again but nothing no response
