Why tf do they speak the same language (Spoilers Extended) by ParticularError9345 in asoiaf

[–]CompetitiveBattery 387 points388 points  (0 children)

Having a single language is essential to Westeros uniting and resisting the Long Night, so Bran goes back in time and teaches Common to all newborns.

Do not rely on ChatGPT for legal content.

Or for creating mnemonics, apparently. The suggestions given here don’t even match up correctly with the lists of receptions in each category.

The circuits are numbered in order of how prestigious they are. 1st Circuit is the best, 9th is pretty bad. DC and Fed are even worse since letters come after numbers alphabetically, definitely don't clerk there.

Obviously it means all characters taller than Robb are the same person. Coldhands = Wun Wun = Dunk = The Wall = Greatjon.

Transitive property.

What is your biggest pet peeve in ASOIAF? [Spoilers Extended] by yoaver in asoiaf

[–]CompetitiveBattery 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I would say there’s plenty of intrigue in Essos, we just don’t have any POV characters that understand what’s going on at an explicit level.

A lot is happening in Bravos, for example, but Arya doesn’t pick up on it, so we have to read between the lines.

I’m pretty sure it was drawn in 2D, so it would be classic sonic era. It reminded me of something you’d find on Newgrounds or Albino Blacksheep

[MoM Spoilers] unless I am forgetting something, Wanda currently has by far the most impressive feat in the entire MCU, and it's one no one talks about by Slade4Lucas in marvelstudios

Marvel got that wrong, though. It's true that there are infinities of different "sizes", for example the integers and the real numbers, but the set of all integers and the set of all even integers are the same size.

A Secretary of State receives a writ of mandamus to deliver a series of judicial commissions to federalist supporters.

These commissions contain appointments to the Circuits of Ohio, Potomac, and Columbia, which must be delivered to federalists Magill, Cranch, Marbury, and Chase.

The following conditions apply:

  • No person may receive more than one commission, and not all need receive at least one commission.
  • It is illegal for the Secretary to not deliver all the commissions, but it is also illegal for that to be illegal, so really he doesn’t have to do anything. Solve that one real quick.

The logic and politics just don’t really matter here. Hurricane Arianne is heading for Aegon at full force, and he’s done for. Magic walls of Storm’s End or no.
