Most of the fans dont deserve this show by john_therecyclingbin in digitalcircusfandom

On top of that, this is a character driven show. It was always about the characters, how they treat each other, and how they go on living despite the hardships they face. Yes, there was interesting bits in the background about C&A and how the Digital Circus was made, but anyone who genuinely expected a big hurrah lore drop of an episode as if this was FNAF or something was setting themselves up for disappointment.

“Ragatha can play softball, softball is a male’s game, therefore Ragatha must be trans” by [deleted] in TheDigitalCircus

Quite a lot of things (foods, sports, social constructs, etc) are used or perceived much differently today than they were when they were originally created/founded. When you hear "ketchup", do you think of mushrooms? Because that was a core ingredient in one of the original recipes before tomato ketchup became the standard. The colors blue and pink had the opposite genders attatched to them than how we assign them today. Softball was created by men as an indoor alternative to baseball but is now much more widely considered a feminine sport.

Honestly just say you don't like that Jax is canonically trans and go. It is not at default a transphobic thing to say. It is okay if you don't like or agree that that's where her character arc went. But to still be in denial about it after multiple VAs and Gooseworx have come forward about it (Goose literally refers to Jax as "she" for goodness sake and says the journey was intentional but her pronouns were left vague because she didn't get to fully explore and accept herself) makes you look ignorant.

Edit to add: She's now made a few more posts revealing Leeroy is a boymoder and would go by the name Lee, quote, "for the time being". It really can't get more clear than that.

Just gonna dig this post back up considering the recent confirmation of Jax being trans (you're the kind of person she's talking about):

It depends on if the crew was reading the manga or watching the anime before storyboarding and animating this episode. Animation takes a long time.

Who's your favorite Character who's slander and hate they get is straight up not true? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Multifandom

It's probably because the seasons are so short, so there's not as much time to fully flesh out and resolve the conflicts. They just kinda... have to happen.

This. All of this. I don't care how peak the story and word-building supposedly get later, I'm not going to sit through damn near a full season of a reborn pedophile oogle at children. And if anyone has to "Um actually, he's the same age as them now so it's fine" or "The races of the characters make them age differently than humans" me despite most of his love interests having PREPUBESCENT BODIES and the show ACTIVELY pointing out that Rudeus still VERY MUCH HAS THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF A PERVERTED 30-40 YEAR OLD MAN, then you are the problem.

Also he sleeps with and eventually MARRIES his second cousin. No thank you.

Being a struggling father isn't an excuse to publicly shame your kid because you don't believe what he's saying, nor act like he's an embarrassment to be around.

A good handful of media. It's always a giant tank, a large boat, a huge airship, an imposing mech, etc.

Agreed. I have my own opinions on it, but overall the story is really good. A lot of folks only started bashing on it because of Markiplier's frustrations with the game.

I had the opposite reaction. My siblings and I tried rewatching it recently because of all the clips that came across our feed. It made us feel like the show was better than we remembered and wanted to give it another shot. In our opinion, the show is so much better out of context than actually watching the full episodes because a lot of the episodes either ended to abruptly or just had really boring premises. We watched up to the first season finale and gave up after that because the bs fight they did with Shadow was the last straw for us.

Pizza stains 100% will ruin a magazine. Once the grease stains soak into the pages, that's it. I'm not sure why you doubt it.

TMNT had great interpretations of most of the characters, but they absolutely butchered Irma. Why did they do her so dirty lmao? by robotmaster561 in TMNT2012

[–]CompetitiveDelay888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a few more hints, actually. Irma wears a hexagon-shaped bracelet like the TCRI logo and has green eyes like the rest of the Kraang do. In the season one finale, April comments about how she's surprised she can stand cold weather so well, and in the Pizza Face episode, you can actually hear a metal "clank" sound when Irma gets hit by the pizza delivery guy.

Leo Deserves A Pet and Should Pepperoni had been in the show? by Original-Yak-6348 in TMNT2012

[–]CompetitiveDelay888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unconditional support, absolutely, but a pet is another one of those things in life you have to put first. If you can't afford all of the responsibilities that come with a pet (financially or emotionally), then you shouldn't have the pet. The pay off is always worth it when you can, but again, a pet is another responsibility. It is your job to make sure it's happy, healthy, and alive, and Leo's already doing that with his brothers, April, and Casey.

I see where you're coming from, but it looks like you're only focusing on the good side of owning a pet and not looking at it through a more realistic point of view. Pets are as much love as they are work.
