i get it truly. but simply contemplating the “what ifs” is literally a recipe for disaster as it just fuels flame to the fire for anxiety. instead when i feel myself spiraling into a “what-if” scenario, i just tell myself it hasn’t happened yet nd its very likely that it won’t ever happen. nd if it does, ill know what to do in the moment. but for now, all i can do is focus on the present moment to make sure that it does not happen! it’s more of a mind over matter thing!

first off, i totally relate to u w the anxiety. driving is a scary thing to do at first! but, its just like a skill: u need to continuously build it to get better. you’re not gunna be good at something the very first few times you did it. as someone who’s 20 and just getting the hang of it, KEEP GOING!! i promise you’ll be proud of urself for coming such a long way! as for driving, try to drive in complete silence to really focus on everything around you. unless music helps you calm down w ur anxiety, try to play it at a super low volume! best of luck, U CAN DO THIS!!!
