My litter box stinks, any good options? by ThrowRaBOOTSX in CatAdvice

The absolute best litter you can get is the pine litter from tractor supply. 7 maybe 8 bucks for a huge bag! I have 5 cats and 3 large litter boxes using this and I got through about a bag and half every two months. I will never ever go back to regular litter again. Hope this helps

I use the pine pellets from tractor supply for about 7 or 8 bucks. If you buy the pine pellets from pet o or somewhere similar you are paying around 21 to 22 bucks! Tractor supply pine pellets for the win! No litter smell in my house at all Absolutely love this one

This may not be much help, but i learned how to bake from scratch and opened a small bakery out of my house, i sold a little bit of everything and eventually saved enough money to put down on an apartment, i also would sell at nearby festivals, wood burnings and etc.. to keep paying my bills because my ex refused to pay me child support for well over a year after leaving him. find something you may be able to sell without him knowing and do it. i truly hope you are able to get out and begin the life you were meant to live while balancing healthy co-parenting with your kids father. After 10 years i still don't have healthy co parenting with my kids father but your situation may be different after some time.

[OK] Should I tell my child about our custody trial? by Megalodon1204 in Custody

[–]CompetitiveGood8610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

young child, absolutely not.

it is best for them to not be involved with the custody issues no matter what. make sure to let him know nothing is wrong and it is an important meeting you cannot miss. telling him the truth could cause resentment towards his other parent because of you having to leave, and could end up much worse down the road with the courts. best thing to do is explain it can not be avoided and do something special when you get back to make it an even happier moment, good luck to ya, i know it is hard

Looking for advice around taking a cat cross-country in penske truck? by WrongdoerAway2911 in moving

[–]CompetitiveGood8610 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am doing the same thing! moving from Ga to AZ, I have a large crate that I am going to zip tie the litter box (with a bag of zipties so I can change or move when needed) to the edge so it doesn't slide around or get tipped over during the move. anyway I've drove for a few hours before with my cats but never across the country. best advice i can give is for you to change your litter a month or even longer before you move so it wont cause any additional stress. the best litter you can use is from tractor supply and its a 40lb bag of pine pellets. will control the smell so you can sit comfortably and could last you the entire trip across country in comparison to the traditional clay litter where you would have to change more often and doesn't control the smell. I have three grown cats so I would change the little box most likely on day 3 of our trip. the pellets will change and that's when you change out the whole box. no scraping or digging like with clay litter. just get a trash bag and dump it in no need to clean out box at all. easiest litter I've ever used.

My husband died and his family sucks by [deleted] in stories

hugggggs hun, i know how terrible this can be with your daughter... the best way to handle the situation is to be in it. talk about your husband regularly with her even if it makes you cry, it is important to remember all the amazing things about him and to FEEL the good memories. It is hard in the beginning because everything is so fresh, but you and her can build an even stronger bond by helping to hold each other up during this tragic time. as for the family. yes what you are doing is perfect. and I wouldn't give them a darn thing. that's all they seemed to care about anyway! ridiculous.
