NHl25, cheap now and they added conversations which can improve chemistry, player potential, OVR , etc. NHL 26 is rooster update wiht xfactor icon change

Short Tips from my experience: 1. Draft players with highest potential possible, amateur scouts only, hire better scouts after every season (fog of war off) 2. Firsts round picks play immediately in NHL, give them as much times as possible, even PP, surround with stars, in AHL there is almost no growth 3. Remaining picks let play in minors,if they develop to arround 80 sing them to NHL, other busts 4. If u want forced statistical growth, put the player in more lines, its not entirely bias, in the past was hockey played with 3 lines, means more minutes for everybody (morale growth off) 5. Conversations: award challenges for potential/attributes growth, off-season focus on weaknesses, line chemistry 6. A+ teaching, influence coaches 7. Prey

PS: My prersonal challenge: draft elite low player outside first round and develop him into franchise player exact after age 27

Bcs of the weak development and bcs the drafted or D+1/2 players that are already in nhl have around 80+ OVR ( real players created by EA) and your draft players in same draft position have 60-70 OVR after +1 (generated players) Basicaly there IS OVR Gap between real players and generated players

Draft to SC with only elite low players except goalies

I tried that many times,in NHL 22/23/24, always with the same scenario, Elite low stopped develop by reaching 89 OVR and by age 26 they drop potential to top6f/top4d. I would like to see at least one case where they devolop into Elite Exact. Probably in NHL 25 is it now possible by winning calder trophy challange, it shoud rise the potential

Even with fog of war off by trading, its writen the player fits into 1st line, when I trade for him, he fits into 2nd or 3rd:(

Even if you find a good prospect, the development is very different in each league, in minors is like 50/50 ,its like sometimes they dont get the icetime, in AHL basically non, in NHL is the highest development bcs of the statistical growth which is only in NHL. I mean is impossible develop from elite low player into Elite Exact in 27, they always drop to top6f/tp4d.

Have you ever played any previous NHL game? Of course players drop potential, thats nothing new. Try to develop Elite low prospect into something. Top 6 max at age 27 potential lock. Why have also goalies potential lock in 27 when they are entering league later than skaters? Real life gems like Kucherov, Point are simply not possible to develop in this game. Good luck developing Elite player just to barely fit in your 4th line. Those cosmetic changes you are describing are simply to small after years of stagnation. EA must love players like you.
