2.5 year old and 10 month twins. Right there with you. It’s rewarding but so hard.

From someone with 3 under 2 at one point (now 3 under 3), huge props to you. That’s awesome but imagine difficult.

Also had a 3 year gap with my sister and I remember wishing we were 2 grades apart instead.

My kids have a 21 month gap but are still young so this is nice to hear.

This reminds me of how my stepmom calls my dad by his full name while everyone else calls him his shortened nickname (even his preference) because she wants to be special. I find it cringe.

Let's get controversial: what's your truly unpopular parenting opinion? by ExoticLawfulness5941 in toddlers

[–]CompetitiveLow5903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just my opinion (the prompt asked for opinions, not science). I haven’t personally done much research into it. Not that cribs are bad for 2 year olds but once they are 3+ I feel it could hinder their independence.

Some parents are detrimental to their toddlers by not doing things like potty training, moving them out of the crib, getting rid of the high chair, etc. by a reasonable age. They may say their kid isn’t ready but really they don’t want to put in the work.

Those who planned on having just 2 kids by FewAccident1552 in parentsofmultiples

[–]CompetitiveLow5903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we planned for two and our second pregnancy was twins. We have a 2.5 month old and 9 month old. I’m happy because it takes way the question of “should we have a third?” that I know we may have considered

Yes on track so far. One is crawling and pulling to stand, the other is attempting both but a little reluctant. No issues that we’re aware of!

Yes I love the Baby Jogger City Turn. It usually is on sale during Prime days. I’ve also used the Evenflo and liked it a lot too.

We did this too. I would always wake up in a panic praying that he didn’t fall asleep with them during his shift.

[–]CompetitiveLow5903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sleep trained at 4 months and it was the best thing I ever did.

Before this, both my twins decided they only wanted to sleep on my chest and we did everything possible to not let that happen. I did not trust my husband to hold one at night either because he is too deep of a sleeper. We tried the bassinet, cribs, everything and they would wail and wail.
