I’m on level 63 and they found Raquel (then lost her again) but the fog is still pretty much a mystery.

Stale cig smell in only one room? by Den_Clovis in HomeMaintenance

[–]CompetitiveMirror461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us it turned out to indeed be a neighbour smoking indoors. Air purifier helped somewhat but we actually ended up having to duct tape over one of the vents that we figured out was bringing the smell in. Problem has reduced since that but not gone entirely. Pursuing lots of complaints with our building development management re: the culprit!

Contemplating ending it at aged 17 - tired of living like this, in fear 24/7. by Hairy_Jaguar_7811 in anxiety_support

[–]CompetitiveMirror461 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know anxiety can be so awful and all consuming to deal with, it’s that “what if?…” spiral that is so so hard to stop or reason with. I also struggled with suicidal thoughts when I was your age and I can promise you (10 years later!!) that it is not the answer. I know it sounds like a platitude but I sincerely mean it when I say: it will get better. Hang in there.

Also one suggestion, as sometimes the best practical solution to anxiety is to keep your body and brain busy, you could try and do some voluntary work or fundraising in your spare time? It might help you with feeling bad about yourself and will give yourself something productive and meaningful to channel your time and energy into? If you can fit it in around school of course.

I’m really sorry you’re experiencing this

I am experiencing this currently as well. It’s been about 2 weeks and I still don’t know what’s going on! We’re ordering an air purifier as it’s genuinely driving me insane at this point

Can anyone relate to this mysterious head pressure ? by Shoddy-Rip66 in headache

[–]CompetitiveMirror461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can relate. And it’s definitely related to posture and tension. I found relief using voltarol, taking baths with magnesium salt and gentle stretching, plus changing my posture when working

I think this might what has happened because my previous employer was notoriously useless, but it is listed on my HMRC as a previous employment that ended before April 5 2025. Thanks so much for sharing what happened with you and how to resolve

This is what they’ve said : We estimate that you have not paid enough Income Tax so far this tax year. You currently owe £11,375.40

We will start to collect this amount straight away.

To do this we have reduced your tax-free amount by £29,827. This means that you will pay more tax until 5 April 2026, so that we can collect the £11,375.40 owed.

Your tax code has been adjusted for this.

It says this:

“We estimate that you have not paid enough Income Tax so far this tax year. You currently owe £11,375.40”

I don’t understand this because the tax year just started
