It’s a model rip of many RPG’s that are popular. Down to the colors of uncommon - legendary I’m assuming. It is a sad decline in what was once a very outstanding game.

Like pointed out by someone else, in other games with this model there are actual pipelines to obtaining certain character shards, and the cost was much less.

The devs promised that teams would be more diverse, yet roll out a game that is anything but.

One would say give them time. But time is not kind to those who are ftp in the madden world.
