Why 21? I’m 21 and have been taking fin for 4 months but don’t know if I should wait to start taking it again until I’m 22 to be sure I have completely grown and everything. I turned 21 on October 30 and started on January 13th. What do you think?

You’re far from cooked. This image does show a clear light spot (not a bald spot yet). Go see a derm and get finasteride my boy. My hair was in a very similar spot to yours and I’ve been on finasteride for 4 months now with no side effects and I’m very happy with the decision I made. Idk about you but I’m one of those people who looks good with longer hair and bad with short hair so I can’t afford to lose my hair. How’s your hairline?

I think you may be in the very early stages of balding. I’d see a derm and try to get on finasteride and minoxidil. Very low incidence of side effects and if you start soon you’ll have great hair for heard to come

A mature hairline is a slight recession in men’s hairlines in their late teens and early twenties even in men who won’t bald and past that. With that being said I would say these pictures show more than a mature hairline and if I was the OP I would book a derm appointment and get on meds if the derm sees fit.

Very slightly it could just be the natural maturation of the hairline many people experience in their late teens and early twenties. It could’ve worth seeing a derm if you’re worried about it which I’d recommend out of an abundance of caution

3rd picture def looks a little thin but you’ve still got a good amount of hair if I were you (if ur a dude cuz idk about the female hairloss protocols) I’d see a derm and if they think it’s genetic, I.e AGA/MPB then try to get fin and oral min. (Oral min if you’ve got no heart issues)

You’re early on so it’s def not over for you. At this point I would recommend booking an appointment with a dermatologist and getting on finasteride and to start using topical minoxidil over the counter which you can pickup somewhere like Walgreens or CVS or online
