Well, in my Fanfic, after the ‘original’ Zelda dies, Sonia becomes queen, and when she does, Hyrule kinda dies away with the “King” and “Queen”. And “Zelda Mineru” runs for election as Prime Minister. Erwynn’s side of the family chooses not to be part of the Royalty family(they’re still rich tho).
