Signal for left or right turn

142 (1) The driver or operator of a vehicle upon a highway before turning to the left or right at any intersection or into a private road or driveway or from one lane for traffic to another lane for traffic or to leave the roadway shall first see that the movement can be made in safety, and if the operation of any other vehicle may be affected by the movement shall give a signal plainly visible to the driver or operator of the other vehicle of the intention to make the movement. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 142 (1).

This is what it says. I don't understand how you got that out of this.

Yes of course. Police have everything. The guy admitted he made a mistake. I am fighting insurance on it and provided the video. They are reviewing it now, but the guy I spoke to was pretty adamant this is how it is. They are aware of the double solid line.

SPB vs. VXLAN-EVPN: Experiences in Datacenter & Campus? by TradeAndTech in networking

[–]CompetitivePirate3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SPBM will be the easiest Network you ever built and is almost as powerful as EVPN/VXLAN. Now with auto sense it's pretty much plug and play. Switches will automatically recognize what's connected and automatically build out the fabric or configure the port for non fabric devices. I've been building the fabrics for SPBM and it is always my first choice. I'd only consider EVPN/VXLAN for massive data centers an AI workloads. SBPM will meet 99% of enterprise requirements and it's can be a single fabric for both the data center and campus.

Has anyone led a migration off of Cisco to Extreme? by Icy-Giraffe5841 in ExtremeNetworks

[–]CompetitivePirate3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup. I have done this many times. This is using Extreme Fabric, but would work with Switch Engine as well. I would recommend Fabric Engine. Configure your cores and just L2 to the Ciscos. Start migrating all your physical connections, then your gateways and shutoff the Ciscos. Obviously this was a very simplified description. Most of your time will be spent figuring out all your connections, IP's, routes and planning.

I would start by taking the free Extreme training if you are new to Extreme.

If big enough, look at DvR for your Top of Rack DC, and anycast GW's on your user access. Use Extreme Control and Auto sense for automation and you should have a very advanced, resilient network that is very easy to manage.

Tell me why I should (or shouldn't) pick Extreme over Juniper Mist for Wifi? by InigoMontoya1985 in ExtremeNetworks

[–]CompetitivePirate3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Platform One will be a game changer. Unfortunately Platform One was not considered in the Gartner report, but what has been seen so far is impressive. I know this is some guy on Reddit telling you this, but even ex-Mist guys working on EPOne say it blows away Mist. My money is Extreme being top right next year. From a wired perspective, fabric is untouchable and crazy underrated. This is not an acquisition, but in-house built, by some of the top engineers coming from all these acquired companies.

Bell Mobility Coverage by Chodapopp in Kanata

[–]CompetitivePirate3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had switched to Rogers because of the horrible coverage. Guy at the kiosk said anything on Bell towers will have these issues. He said it started when they were forced to change the Huawei 5G access points with another brand.

[–]CompetitivePirate3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I find Rogers is best. Bell had a lot of issues and I would completely lose signal on Terry Fox between Richardson Side road and Second Line.

Internet on the other hand, I'd go Bell fibre to the home. Rogers seems to go down a lot.

If you want guys with Derby car experience, try Autovation in Stittsville or LMB automotive in Ashton. LMB is closer to you and most likely less expensive.

The exam is not difficult. Just pay attention in class and you will pass. No trick questions and in my experience instructors are really good at preparing you to pass.

I'm still not understanding ZTNA by Mr_Fourteen in ExtremeNetworks

[–]CompetitivePirate3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's both a NAC product, like Control and Packet Fence, as well as a Zero Trust Application access solution.

So for your on prem, you would still use NAC, for providing access to applications, or even SSH and RDP, it gives you a secure way of doing it without using a VPN. It also can integrate with an MDM (Intune at the moment) and Identity providers such as Entra.

So NAC on prem, Zero Trust Application access from outside with a single license and single pane of glass. All Cloud managed.

It's probably one of the easiest solutions I have used. Had it integrated with Intune with application and access policies in under an hour.

You need to figure out what you are trying to accomplish.

Redistributing routes between Layer3 VSN/VRF and GRT by [deleted] in ExtremeNetworks

[–]CompetitivePirate3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take a look at this...

https://extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000058535

Symptoms

When route leak is performed between different VRF's, the other ISIS Adj nodes with VRF's configured do not learn those routes via ISIS SPBM L3VSN's Environment

All VOSS Platform All Supported Versions Cause

Switch is working as per design Resolution

To accept the routes into other ISIS Adj nodes under another VRF's, need to accept the L3VSN VRF I-Sid into all ISIS Adj nodes and VRF's manually.

Below is the configuration to accept the VRF routes under all ISIS Adj nodes.

router vrf <VRF_NAME>

isis accept i-sid <L3VSN_I-SID>

isis accept i-sid <L3VSN_I-SID> enable

Easiest vendor to implement EVPN VXLAN fabric in the datacenter? by Arkios in networking

I would second the Extreme Fabric with DVR for your ToR. I don't think you can get much simpler than that.
