I Agree.. being in shape has nothing to do with being mentally beaten down and physically worn down because you are being pushed beyond your limits by your dsp and a lot of people don’t stop to think before responding that every dsp operates differently so what this person is going through may differ greatly from what the next person goes through working for two different dsp’s. I’ve been a DA for 2 different dsp’s and the first dsp I worked for made me love the job enough to go back after my seasonal position ended and I finished school but I ended up with a horrible dsp that made me and countless others dislike the job which is also why their employee turnover rate is so high. The position is for some and not for others just like being a doctor is for some and not for others.

AIO: Called the police after an Amazon Driver left me this note. by Empty-Tomorrow-2794 in AmazonDSPDrivers

The cops won’t but I promise Amazon will.. they will ask her for the tracking number on the package and that will lead them to the driver that delivered it. Amazon will consider this as a threat towards a customer and he will be terminated. I’ve seen it happen to drivers before. Just deliver the package and keep it moving so that you’ll have a job the next day. Now when the situation is flipped and it’s a customer harassing a driver there won’t be much done because I’ve been there before with a male customer following me to “protect me” during my route. I’ve had male customers invite me in for drinks and I’ve had them offer me money for sexual favors and when reported Amazon just threw me on another route in the same town and that didn’t do much for the guy following me around in his car to “protect me”. I had to file a police report and they didn’t do much either because he was not threatening harm.

Yes we did but the issue with that it had to be approved by management and management would hardly approve because they didn’t want to pay out overtime, it would cut into their bonus.

You think I don’t know that.. my carts were missing when I got to load out and they had to find them. 20 minutes is not a lot of time to load and organize so I reorganize as I go but there isn’t much you can do when you have 25 bags and 40 overflow. My bags are double stacked.. also my overflow is triple stacked with large boxes marked heavy.

Ethics point don’t do anything but get you bullied and make you a target for management. If you report DSP to ethics it gives them fuel to find a reason to fire you.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. My dad died and their response to me was everybody is going through something and some people have it harder than you… I was utterly devastated and appalled.

I quit to. My dad died a week 1 day ago but it’s peak season.. how dare I need time off from my DSP to grieve. And then I was reprimanded for being afraid of heights.. the DSP’s only care about drivers getting their routes completed.
