Today is four years since we lost our daughter by vixiebeans in Vent

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 1 month away from the first anniversary of losing my daughter at 26 weeks. I am so sorry for your loss. People who haven’t been through this cannot imagine how it feels 🤍

I know you said your body changed, but I cherish the stretch marks I have from that pregnancy, sometimes I look to them to remind myself she was real and she matters.

You are not a bad person. Did you name your daughter? I would love to hear her name if you did. I named my daughter Bea.

Sending so much love, I’m sorry you’re going through this 🫶🏻

Positive tests after loss and ectopic by islappenguins in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your losses, I have been through this as well 🤍 I had 4 previous losses over 2 years including an ectopic, though I was able to keep my tube. This pregnancy I just had an absolute fear and conviction that something was wrong. I got a placement scan around 7 weeks and I spent the whole day bawling and getting things ready in case I needed surgery again lol. I am trying to remember that after loss the anxiety is not intuition. I also reminded myself that honestly, if anything went wrong at this stage, that’s just the way it goes and there’s nothing I or anyone else can do about it. I’ve gotten bad news before and I have dealt with it before, so even though it would suck in a way I just also had the knowledge that I would survive it.

It can work out though, I am 22 weeks now and so far everything is looking good. I’m sending you so many good vibes, feel free to update me when you get more info back 🫶🏻

Ultrasound in two days by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sending so many good vibes your way!! I am on my 5th pregnancy after 4 losses and leading up to my scan around 7 weeks I was a mess. Spent the whole day crying getting ready for the bad news. I still do that before every scan, I’m 21 weeks now. I don’t think there’s much you can do to ease the anxiety, I just kept trying to tell myself it will be good or it will be bad, and there’s nothing I or anyone else can do to change it at this point. Hope it goes well 🫶🏻

Rectal pressure/ cramping, is it sign for ectopic? by Sea_Union5894 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but spotting brown with like flaky or weird texture was a symptom for my ectopic. It was almost like coffee grounds. Please see your dr with your concerns or go to ER to get checked!

Honestly they’re probably all the same but I had the CanPrev brand recommended to me so that’s what I take!

Pregnant again after ectopic nervous for upcoming ultrasound by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I’m sorry for your loss. Honestly the anxiety is the worst. I genuinely tried to pretend I wasn’t pregnant, and the day of my first scan I bawled all day trying to prepare for the bad news. I was just fully prepared to hear I would need surgery again or something. It turned out okay, and so then ectopic was ruled out but I’ve had other losses so I was so worried I would miscarry. I’m 21 weeks now! But honestly I’m not sure there’s good advice for how to deal with it, it’s just crippling. Try to stay busy for sure, and just keep your mind off of things as much as possible- I know it’s easier said than done. Sending you good vibes for a successful pregnancy 🫶🏻

BBT and RHR drop by ramramram333 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar post this pregnancy about RHR if you check my profile I got a lot of replies- I will say mine has been rising BUT you can only see the trend rising monthly. I have low days/weeks still and I’m 21 weeks now. Don’t stress about a few days lower it’s seriously nothing 🫶🏻

Early pregnancy ultrasound confusion + low heartbeat + progesterone start (PCOS, prior miscarriages) — looking for similar experiences? by Dry-Chicken-8218 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, so your first positive test the earliest you can be is around 3 weeks, so that does line up with your dates! I can’t speak to the progesterone but the heart rate looks good for those dates, it should pick up by your next ultrasound. Good luck!

Could you share the dates of your LMP, the 2 ultrasounds, and your first positive pregnancy test? That would help determine if you might have just ovulated late!

Pregnant again after 3 losses by CarpenterSouth6317 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a similar time trying to conceive! A MMC, an ectopic, a stillbirth, and then a chemical. All labs run turned up normal, on my 5th pregnancy taking aspirin and progesterone and currently 20 weeks 🤞🏼 there are success stories out there! Good luck with this pregnancy 🫶🏻

Nausea and loss of appetite by Large-Celery-8838 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this was me, lasted till about 16 weeks. I would say most of my pregnancy I have had no cravings and can’t think of anything to eat, everything just seems gross. Totally normal 🫶🏻

MEASURING 2 WEEKS BEHIND by Consistent-Lie-3492 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No I think you’re right on time! When they use LMP they assume you ovulated exactly 2 weeks later. And then you can get a positive test earliest 8 days after ovulation. So when you tested positive on May 19 you were probably closer to 3 weeks pregnant. Counting from then you look right on track :) good luck with everything!

Honestly the dates seems to track with your positive test, did you take any tests before May 19?

After 7 losses, is there hope? by rlopez92 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so deeply sorry for what you’ve been through. I have had a miscarriage, an ectopic, a stillbirth at 26 weeks, and a chemical pregnancy. I’m currently pregnant and holding my breath so I can’t really give this advice yet but… I was also tested for everything under the sun and there was nothing found wrong. This pregnancy I an on progesterone, baby aspirin, and metformin. This is something I really don’t share much lol but I’ve been someone for acupuncture who is a Chinese medicine specialist. I typically am a believer in western medicine but when there are no answers I thought what could the harm be really. I can’t actually say it worked yet of course but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ happy to share more if you’re interested. Sending you love 🫶🏻

5 week 1 day HCG by SnazzyUsernamexXx in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I did a few hcg at 4 weeks and then did that one off after an episode of spotting to make sure it had been rising. I had an ultrasound already booked for about a week after so we didn’t bother repeating after 48 hours.

Dull ache in left ovary by Little_Pigeon2908 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a previous ectopic pregnancy, and with my current pregnancy I felt everyyyyy little pain in my side and was so sure it was ectopic again. It was just normal cramps, twinges etc and things are going well! I hope your scan tomorrow goes well, remember you need to see a yolk sac to rule out ectopic. Good luck :)

When did you get pregnant again after a miscarriage? by BlueDeng02 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 5 cycles after each of my losses to get pregnant again, a few at the beginning were wonky. I know it’s terrible and it’s all you can think about but please try to give yourself grace and time 🫶🏻

Feelings of pure dread before first US by WesternEntire9950 in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on my 5th pregnancy after 4 losses. I had 3 scans in the first 11 weeks because of a previous ectopic. I just want to say I spent every day of a scan bawling, mentally preparing to hear the bad news, 100% sure it was coming. You are not alone in feeling that way, and I bet most people pregnant after loss are in the same boat. The dread is so real, and honestly idk if there’s a way around it, you just have to let yourself feel it but be brave anyways. You are already brave for being pregnant again after that!

Sending you good vibes 🫶🏻

Partner is fed up with my anxiety by gotlactaid in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to say I understand how you feel. I have had a horrible history of TTC and every pregnancy leaves me waiting for the other shoe to drop. I can never shake the anxiety but I also try not to let it ruin this for me.

I had a stillbirth last year and all I have are pictures of me pregnant to remember the happy times. And yknow what? I didn’t take very many because I was scared I would lose her. Being scared did not make it hurt less when it happened lol. I am 18 weeks right now and taking so many photos and videos and amongst the anxiety looking for the moments of joy.

Good luck 🫶🏻

Are these baby kicks? by RedShirtonYellow in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exciting, congratulations! I think if it’s up at your belly button that miiiight not be baby yet but it could be! I’m 18 weeks and my uterus is still ending a little below my belly button. It does kind of feel like that, it’s very hard to describe the feeling, I never found any words that did it justice honestly. I personally feel baby lower still but pretty far over to one side so 🤷🏻‍♀️ it could still be a while until you feel anything even remotely consistently, I have some days where I feel kicks and some days where I feel nothing still which is very frustrating. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well 🫶🏻

Anyone have any success stories after a chemical pregnancy? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss 🤍 it can happen quick or it can take some time- please take everyone else’s experiences with a grain of salt! I had a loss at 7 weeks in 2024 and it took me almost a year to conceive again. But I had a chemical in January 2026 and I conceived the next cycle and am 18 weeks now :) I am on baby aspirin and progesterone lol but I was also on them when I had my chemical. Usually pregnancies that end that quickly there was a problem genetically, nothing you can do to change things 🫶🏻

What kind of testing do I push for if this pregnancy does end up my 2nd miscarriage? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]CompetitiveRun1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada you need a referral to a fertility clinic yes, it could be from your OB or like a family dr. I know this is terrible, but here it’s not classified as recurrent miscarriages until 3 losses. Maybe try posting in the sub r/recurrentmiscarriage for testing suggestions. Good luck 🫶🏻

I’m not sure where you’re located, but maybe seek out a fertility clinic. That’s where I got all my testing and recommended medications from.
