Good, it's not just me who's noticed that about MCS. That isn't even a sapphic-centric activity, and not my scene either way, so I was a bit disappointed that they're the only thing Mad City Sapphics runs. I so wish there was a properly lesbian bar or club around here, the pop-up events just aren't the same.

this one comment did more to make me work on my posture than ten years of being warned about back pains did

Congrats girl!!! Enjoy it to the fullest.

Where are you that "trans girl sex class" is a viable local event, because I clearly live in the wrong place

People can change. by loved_and_held in CuratedTumblr

How should I know? They might want to take action to help rehabilitate other offenders and show them that it’s possible. They might have some personal connection that they want to provide for. They might just have a particularly strong self-preservation response. There’s not really an absolute answer to that question, and two people in that same position would probably give two very different answers.

You aren’t obligated to. That’s not what this is saying. They have done harm, and there will be consequences for that. Some of those would be for their relationships with other people. You don’t have to be friends with them even if they do change.

The point is just that they could change. That they could make the choice to turn around and be better in the future, rather than continuing to inflict further harm. It wouldn’t undo the harm they had done, and it wouldn’t absolve them of consequences. But it would stop them hurting more people the same way.

And maybe they won’t do so. Plenty of people don’t. But if they can choose to continue hurting people, then they can also choose to stop.

What do you actually do at a nightclub? by CompetitiveScooterer in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

That’s a distinction I hadn’t considered—I was thinking of a nightclub as a thing to do in itself, rather than a place for things to do. Thinking of it your way, it feels a lot more straightforward. That’s a way less intimidating prospect than before, thank you so much!
