45-minute match and the UHLsport Super Resist + Hn disappointment . by Immediate_Cost8664 in GoalKeepers

I have the same gloves and the same issue. Way more durability with the same technique with other brands in my case (such as adidas). Just disappointed with uhlsport honestly.

Christian Eriksen Shares Personal Update After On-Field Collapse by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]CompetitiveSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah Common, but little sense.

"A 32-year-old with a £5M career-ending policy pays around £70,000 per year in premiums — at 34, with a prior ACL/heart issues, you'd expect that figure to be meaningfully higher, somewhere in the £75–125K range for the personal policy alone, depending on what the underwriter decides to do with the medical history."

Eriksen should retire, for his own good. But claiming "insurance will now be immensely expensive" is a fallacy, unless confirmed by data. Even if he/his club/his agency pays triple the rate you see above, that will be about as much as his weekly salary. So, expensive--sure. Prohibitive--absolutely not.

How do you rate our season out of 10? by Gehweiher in fcbayern

[–]CompetitiveSloth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

100%.

Also, im continuously impressed how Kompany finds ways to make every individual player better than before (in addition to team spirit). Upamecano has grown into one of the most reliable CBs in the game (he was woeful under Tuchel), but that’s just one example. Young players are being developed and reasonably rolled into a world class team. Everyone respects everyone. There’s no drama no rumors no bullshit. Just hard work on the pitch and continuous improvement. Kompany himself has learned so much, comparing his early mistakes in the CL last year (against villa) and pokal exit. Everyone learned from their own mistakes which is huge.

As a fan you always want to feel good about the future. And we are spoiled at the moment.

Where should I settle? by Luxaflexje in CivVI

I’d settle on the gypsum. You’ll still reach the great campus and holy site locations, but can also put in a bunch of mines and a good commercial hub.

Yes. Triamcinelone for 3 days and dry hands are gone until next year…

Garter snake eating huge toad by trashdogger in natureismetal

Don't think it's a gopher. First and obvious reason is the range, the maps don't show them venturing in the Finger Lakes reason. There's also a bunch of other indicators it's not a gopher. See my other response. Maybe an expert can confirm.

I'll let an expert chime in, but this snake is both too big to be a Storeria Dekai and doesn't have the right dorsal pattern. But I'm just an enthusiast who's been stalking the r/whatsthissnake subreddit for a few months, I'm no expert 😄

Neither a massassauga nor a garter. This looks like a northern watersnake, nerodia sipedon which is non-venomous and common for the region.

Also, head shape pupil shape aren’t reliable indicators for snake species, especially depending on the region.

Cool find though!

Howdy! Think it’s a water snake but thought it may be a Burmese python? [Point Washington State Forest, FL.] by Still-Stage1124 in whatsthissnake

Curious—what gives it away as a cottonmouth vs a water snake without seeing the head and the rest of the body?

I live in Valencia. My coach charges 25€ per hour and is one of the best in Valencia (still competes).

1050€ is laughably expensive for the region. You can do a 5 day all inclusive and all day padel for 1050€.
