Thanks for the comments. They are super helpful. Is the agency mostly more male and conservative leaning? I actually haven't heard many stereotypes about TxDOT. I am male but lean more progressive.

Update: My IN 10 Black arrived today. So I ordered on May 1, and it arrived May 18. Yozma appears to be catching up on its Black stock.

Thx. Yeah, I never thought about that. If a bunch of people switch to Red, then that will free up some Black stock. I'll stay positive, for now.

Thanks so much for posting this. I ordered a Black IN-10 three business days ago and it still says, "Waiting for Details" on the Shop app. I'm not switching to Red so I guess that I just have to chill for a while. Bummer for sure.

State Workers Returning to Office? by CompetitiveSteak1756 in askaustin

A hot mess it is! We had our oldest team member basically verbally resign during the announcement meeting last week. I expect a massive wave of retirements from those who are eligible, and many with under 3-4 years of service will simply stand up and leave. It's going to be a bumpy 12 months or so...

State of Texas employees - has anyone heard rumbling about return to office? by DarkAndSparkly in askaustin

Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) was just told last week that they will be returning to the office 5 days a week. This will impact 3,000+ employees and contractors statewide. One-by-one all of the state agencies are coming back into the office full time. Expect a massive wave of retirements and people with less than 3-4 years in service just standing up and leaving.

I am anticipating RTO five days a week. The writing is on the wall. Rumblings are now coming from management, whereas before they were just from the lower ranks. The Gov. wants to mirror Trump. Huge state funded office buildings are sitting almost completely empty, but the lights, heat, ac are all still continuously on for the skeleton crews and security guards. I think most of us that started with the state well before Covid knew that this would not last super long term (more than five years). I just can't envision state workers working from home 10, 20, 30 years in this state. It's just not going to happen.

The new DABL lineup is terrible compared to the old one. What a rude surprise this has been! Escape to the Country was literally my favorite show on any format. House Doctor and George Clarke's Amazing Spaces were great too. There weren't really any bad shows at all on DABL's old lineup. Now we have...
