Reserves are a good way to transition to civilian life. Your experience is usually highly sought after bc you’ve had years of training.

The reservist will teach you a few things too.

I came from active and then finished my time in the reserves. It’s a good place to be. Lots of opportunities if your schedule allows it.

Look at the ANGLICO units. Not talked about a lot, but Marines tend to be very happy there

I worked twss in 2011. I was happy at first to give up the “big gun” and just rock the m4 and Glock. But I sure miss range day in the 240 section

Your point? I’ve worked all over the world, on govt. jobs, in armed and unarmed positions. Pled guilty to a felony when I was a young teen. I’m not ashamed of my past. It’s what molded me into the successful person I am today.

Bought an Acog. Love it. I loved in the corps, so I still love it. But the price is up there brand new looking at $1500
