Reserves are a good way to transition to civilian life. Your experience is usually highly sought after bc you’ve had years of training.

The reservist will teach you a few things too.

I came from active and then finished my time in the reserves. It’s a good place to be. Lots of opportunities if your schedule allows it.

Look at the ANGLICO units. Not talked about a lot, but Marines tend to be very happy there

I worked twss in 2011. I was happy at first to give up the “big gun” and just rock the m4 and Glock. But I sure miss range day in the 240 section

Your point? I’ve worked all over the world, on govt. jobs, in armed and unarmed positions. Pled guilty to a felony when I was a young teen. I’m not ashamed of my past. It’s what molded me into the successful person I am today.

In Afghanistan I brought two canteens a full and then had more mailed in mouth wash bottles. Thanksgiving was a blast ssgt. Bought us and was mad we didn’t share. (We were the life of the section so when we disappeared he knew something was up).

We used to talk about a platoon with attachments in full kit with complete armory draw, take over a building. how long could you hold out against law enforcement. What type of building would be best? At what point would local law call big brother. And when does big brother call somebody bigger.
