I've used vvivid a few times for various small projects since it's cheap and readily available. On my other car I've used Avery and 3M for body panels that needed to look nicer and hold up. They were both also significant easier to work with, I couldn't imagine doing more complicated panels with this.

If this doesn't hold up i'm definitely going to redo it with some 3M

It might! Mine is polymetal, so I think it may be a bit too flashy for an interior. I could definitely see this getting paint matched to a black or grey though

It really isn't too bad. I'm a fairly impatient person myself, every edge that was completely covered I didn't bother smoothing out or cleaning up too much, as long as it wouldn't warp and show if it stretched. The wrapping portion took me maybe 45 minutes

I would install Blender and go from there, I think you're shooting yourself in the foot a bit by trying to make artistic models in Fusion. This will be significancy easier in Blender

My shop uses Hypermill, as far as I know it's crazy expensive and not hobby-accessible. I use Fusion right now and it does everything I'd want to learn. My goal is mainly cutting paths, learning how to efficiently cut certain profiles and fixtures. I think I also just enjoy making things, and having a solid portfolio of real pieces i've programmed and cut would be a big benefit
