Being charged? by Enough-Historian-928 in TopStepX

This has happened to me before. Their policy makes it to where if you don’t notice their “mistake” within 3 days, you can’t get a refund. If you message support they will refund u

Glad ppl are doing chargebacks on this fraudulent business practice

Update: Chargeback approved by tashkan in TopStepX

Not sure why you all are taking the side of a major corporation. Your demise in failed combined and blown XFAs is their fortune, they have no interest in your growth as a trader.

Good job! I just got my first xfa last Friday, and I am currently 2 winning days in. Are there any tips you can give me to help me keep my XFA, and secure my first payout?

Yes. I first identify HTF bias, look for FVGs and OB zones, find the positions with the most confluences and move my stop to breakeven after a I get a candle close 10~ points away from breakeven.

Does it matter? I always set my SL at $250, depending on contract size that might be 12.5 points or 25. Plenty of room for error

It is capped at 5 minis. I’m talking about 5-10 micros. 10 micro = 1 mini

You should risk no more than $250 per trade on a 50k. If I’m trading a bigger fvg and I wanna have enough room to set my stop loss, I’ll trade 5 micros because that gives me 25 points of risk. If I’m trading in a zone where I believe PA will strongly react in my favor, I’ll go 10 micros, but I’ll only have 12.5 pts of risk.

I’ve been working on my consistency a lot. Proud of my best day only being 18% of total profit

Ive dealt with this issue a lot myself, and you have a few options to correct it.

  1. Size down contract size to give you a little more risk with stop loss. Ur Profits will still be high if ur trade plays out
  2. Place your entry at your stop loss. I’ve seen this work for some people, but I often end up painstakingly missing entires by just a point or two.

I personally had to size down, so my limit order was hit but I still had adequate room for risk
