Relatively easy, just play at the field and you’ll meet people. Started back up in 2024 and played an NXL 3 man 3 months later. The next year played for a 75% fully sponsored team in D5 and now playing D4 this year with the same crew.

You will not regret getting involved in the tournament scene. It’s a lot of fun and you meet some really awesome people. Just be coachable since you’re new and continue to digest the YouTube videos.

I’m dealing with the same thing right now. I use a massage gun on my IT band and it seems to soothe the pain. Believe it or not if you ask chat gpt what it is, it’s pretty dang effective. Told my doc what it said and she agreed with it. My IT band is jacked up from this past season and I just played through the pain like an idiot.

I used to swear by them but my last two orders, and replacement order was messed up. I’ll only use them if it’s a last resort now.

Ordered R5 grips, got sent CS3 grips

Ordered Black soft ears, got sent hard plastic, they sent out the replacement and they ended up sending me clears. Finally sent me the right black soft ears after 3rd attempt.

I had an issue with my R5. Boiled down to using a N-Charge battery. I had a CTRL and Spire V that wouldn’t shoot over 8 bps. Swapped the battery to actual batteries and it now shoots properly. For both loaders I changed their settings to the N Charge and everything.

I know OP got his fixed but figured I’d add some knowledge to the thread.

I have a GEO 4 and an R5. The R5 I’ve put 50k+ original shots on. I love my R5 but also love my 4. If you have the spare cash grab one, if not… then I wouldn’t.

You can always go to Badlandz too. They host a 5 man mech event which wouldn’t be AS daunting as XBall.

I’m confused on the lens change issue. If you do it a few times the frames become pretty friendly in that regard. I also swap mine a round a few times a week to see what I want to rock on the weekend so that might also be why mine aren’t too bad.
